Samsung’s upcoming rugged phone the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro recently had its design, specs and price leaked ahead of its official launch. The device recently passed FCC certification, and multiple sources have now shared what we can expect. Samsung is reportedly planning to release the phone in Europe later this month.
The XCover 7 Pro is set to come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display (1080 x 2408) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The design sticks closely to its predecessor, featuring dual rear cameras, raised edges for extra protection and a hole-punch cutout on the front for the selfie camera.
As part of the XCover series, durability is front and center. The phone is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H standards, meaning it’s built to handle drops, rough use, and extreme temperatures.
Under the hood, the XCover 7 Pro is expected to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of additional storage.
Powering the phone is a 4,350mAh battery with 15W wired charging support.
For cameras, the rear setup includes a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens, while the front houses a 13MP selfie camera.
The device will ship with One UI 7 based on Android 15, and other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button and dual SIM support.
The only configuration mentioned include 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and the phone is expected to be priced at €599 in Europe. It will only be available in a black colour option.
While Samsung hasn’t officially announced the launch date yet, with leaks ramping up, the official reveal seems just around the corner.
