According to the landing page on Amazon India, the handset will go on sale starting March 6.

The smartphone comes in Chilly Green and Flare White colour options.

Tecno Pop X – Key Features

The new Tecno Pop X is powered by a 12nm octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage. On the front, the device features a 6.75-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 260ppi, promising smoother scrolling and animations compared to standard 60Hz panels.

The smartphone carries an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water splashes. Tecno also claims that the device has undergone over 25,000 drop tests as part of its durability assessment.

Security is managed via a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging, though it ships with a 10W adapter in the box.

For photography, the rear panel appears to house two sensors but actually includes a single 13-megapixel camera with an f/1.85 aperture. Selfies and video calls are handled by an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the Tecno Pop X supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. The company has also included an IR transmitter, allowing users to control compatible household appliances directly from the phone.

A standout highlight of the Tecno Pop X is its “No Network Communication” feature. This capability enables users to make offline calls and send messages within a range of up to 1.5 kilometers, even without access to a cellular network or Wi-Fi connection.

The smartphone also integrates “ELLA AI,” an artificial intelligence assistant designed to function in the user’s native language, improving accessibility for regional audiences.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 15 with the company’s HiOS 15 interface layered on top. Tecno further promises long-term performance stability with its “4 Years TDV Lasting Fluency” certification, indicating optimised hardware and software integration aimed at delivering lag-free usage for up to four years.

Additionally, the device includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset measures 167.79×77.97×8.18mm and weighs 182.6g.
