Samsung’s next flagship tablet the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, has shown up in the Geekbench database, giving us a sneak peek at what’s inside. According to the listing, the tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which features a 3.73 GHz Prime core.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared the Geekbench details on X (formerly Twitter), confirming that Samsung is continuing its partnership with MediaTek. Just like the previous Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which came with a Dimensity 9300+, the S11 Ultra sticks to a 1+3+4 CPU layout, with cores clocked at 3.73 GHz, 3.3 GHz, and 2.4 GHz.

In terms of performance, the Tab S11 Ultra scored 1,430 (single-core) and 5,312 (multi-core) on Geekbench 6.4. That’s quite a bit lower than what the Dimensity 9400+ is usually capable of with average scores for this chipset being around 2,579 (single-core) and 7,480 (multi-core).
This suggests the tablet might be running in a power-saving mode or could be an early prototype still undergoing optimisation.
The model tested had 12GB of RAM and was running Android 16, further confirming that it’s a next-gen device.
While the benchmark scores are underwhelming right now, it’s too early to judge. As the listing likely shows a test unit, Samsung is probably still working on fine-tuning the performance.
If Samsung sticks to the same timeline as last year, we could see an announcement by late September, with a launch in October. However, that may be tricky since rumours suggest that MediaTek’s next flagship chip named Dimensity 9500 will be unveiled earlier in September.
If true, Samsung’s high-end tablet may debut using a chip that’s no longer MediaTek’s latest and greatest. Looks like we’ll have to wait and see how things shape up.
