Nothing Could Launch Six or More Smartphones in 2027, Two New Models Spotted in IMEI Database

Highlights

  • Two upcoming Nothing devices have surfaced in the IMEI database, hinting at early 2027 debuts as part of this expanded lineup.
  • Nothing plans to nearly double its smartphone launches in 2027 with at least six new models expected.
  • The company is also strengthening its presence in India with more exclusive stores, local manufacturing of audio products and additional launches scheduled for Q3 2026.

Nothing appears to be preparing for a much bigger smartphone lineup next year. The company has already confirmed plans to nearly double the number of smartphones it launches in 2027 and two unannounced Nothing phones have now appeared in an IMEI database, suggesting that preparations may already be underway. Here’s more on what we know so far.

The listings were first spotted by PassionateGeekz and reveal two model numbers, A006 and A010. There is currently no information about the names of these upcoming smartphones or their specifications. However, the report suggests that both models could make their debut in early 2027.

Nothing launched three smartphones in 2026 including the Nothing Phone 4a, Nothing Phone 4a Pro and Nothing Phone 4b. If the company follows through with its plan to launch twice as many phones next year, its 2027 lineup could include at least six new smartphones. These devices are expected to cover different price segments, giving customers more options across the company’s portfolio.

The appearance of the A006 and A010 model numbers in the IMEI database also fits with this expected 2027 expansion.

Nothing Plans to Double its Smartphone Lineup

Nothing has been expanding its business rapidly since it initially founded with a pair of earbuds. In just a few years, the London-based company has expanded into smartphones, audio products and smartwatches, while also building its own retail presence.

Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis, during an exclusive interview with Times Now Tech, confirmed that the company plans to nearly double its smartphone launches next year as it continues expanding in India and other international markets.

“It’s still too early to discuss individual products, but I can say we’ve launched three smartphones (Nothing Phone 4a, Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4b) this year, and we’re looking to launch twice that number next year. We’ll share more details closer to launch, but the idea is to have a wider range of smartphones,” he said.

The company’s growing focus on India is also a major reason behind the expansion. Nothing has emerged as one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in the country, competing with larger and more established smartphone makers.

More Nothing Exclusive Stores Coming to India

Nothing is not only expanding its smartphone portfolio but is also increasing its retail presence in India. Earlier this year, the company opened its first exclusive store in the country in Bengaluru.

The company is now preparing to open two more exclusive stores in India by the first quarter of 2027. It has not finalised the locations yet but it is reportedly considering Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The company expects to finalise the locations by the end of September.

Nothing is also looking beyond smartphones as it works to grow its overall product portfolio. Akis Evangelidis said the company is focusing on multiple product categories with audio expected to become an increasingly important part of its business.

“Our audio business has been growing very strongly this year,” Akis said, adding that Nothing has created dedicated business units for audio and AI-native products.

For the Indian market, Nothing is also working on local manufacturing before introducing more premium audio products in the country. “We’re still working on the plans for bringing those products to India. Local manufacturing is an important part of that strategy,” he said.

Nothing has already started manufacturing products including the CMF Watch 3 Pro and CMF Headphone Pro, locally. The company plans to expand local manufacturing to more audio products over the medium term.

More Nothing Products Coming This Year

Despite its focus on 2027, Nothing’s launch calendar for this year is not over yet. Akis also confirmed that the company has more products planned for the third quarter.

“We still have launches planned for Q3 this year. The launch season isn’t over yet and you’ll see more products coming soon. Some rumours are already circulating, but we’ll reveal more at the appropriate time,” Nothing co-founder added.
