Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series introducing the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra in January 2025. Now, the company is reportedly preparing to launch a fourth variant in the S25 Series, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge.
The phone was first teased at MWC 2025 and Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the details yet. According to leaks, the S25 Edge will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 3,900mAh battery. Here’s what we know about the phone so far.
According to multiple reports circulating online, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch on April 16, 2025, with sales likely to begin in early May.
While Samsung hasn’t revealed the official pricing, leaks suggest the 256GB variant could be priced between €1,200 and €1,300 (approximately Rs 1,13,000 – Rs 1,22,500), while the 512GB model may cost between €1,300 and €1,400 (around Rs 1,22,500 – Rs 1,31,900).
This places the S25 Edge above the Galaxy S25+ but slightly below the S25 Ultra in terms of price. For reference Galaxy S25 starts at Rs 80,999, Galaxy S25+ starts at Rs 99,999 and the top variant Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at Rs 1,29,999.

However, there’s a catch!
Since the S25 Edge has a smaller battery than the base S25, the high-resolution display could drain power faster. Some users might prefer a lower resolution to balance battery life.
One exciting upgrade is the titanium alloy middle frame. Until now, titanium was exclusive to Samsung’s Ultra models, but the S25 Edge could be the first non-Ultra S-series phone to feature it.
