Samsung Galaxy M47 appears to be moving closer to launch as the smartphone has now surfaced on a Geekbench GPU benchmark listing. The latest appearance confirms some key hardware details of the upcoming Galaxy M-series device including its processor, GPU, RAM and software version. As per reports, Galaxy M47 will succeed 2023 launched Samsung Galaxy M44. Here’s more on what we know.
Samsung Galaxy M47 Geekbench GPU Details
According to Geekbench appearance details shared by tipsters on X, the Samsung Galaxy M47 carries the model number “SM-M476B”. The listing also confirms that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
The Geekbench GPU benchmark listing reveals that the upcoming Galaxy M47 achieved an OpenCL score of 2,256.
The smartphone is listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor featuring an octa-core CPU setup with four performance cores clocked at 2.40GHz and four efficiency cores running at 1.80GHz. Meanwhile, graphics are to be handled by the Adreno 710 GPU.
The benchmark listing further confirms that the smartphone runs Android 16 and includes 8GB RAM. The device also appeared with the model number “SM-M476B/DS”, which indicates dual-SIM support.
Apart from the benchmark details, some additional specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M47 have also surfaced online.
According to a tipster post on X, the Galaxy M-series smartphone is expected to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display for smoother scrolling and improved multimedia performance.
The handset is also tipped to include a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
For power, the Galaxy M47 is also expected to pack a battery with around 5,000mAh capacity.
As for the launch time, it is important to note that Samsung has not officially confirmed the smartphone yet. However, the recent benchmark appearance suggests that the Galaxy M47 may launch in the coming weeks.
