Samsung has quietly made the Galaxy M07 official in India by listing it on its website. The smartphone comes with familiar specifications that strongly resemble another recently launched Samsung device.
The specs seem identical to the Galaxy A07 4G, which launched in August this year. According to multiple reports, the newly launched M07 could just be a rebranded version of the same device for Samsung’s M-series lineup.
In any case, here’s a quick look at the M07.
The Galaxy M07 sports a 6.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. In the camera department, it features a 50MP primary rear sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses an 8MP selfie camera. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery, designed to last through daily usage.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, a 4G-only SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. The handset also includes IP54 dust and splash resistance, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint sensor for security.
Despite the big battery, it maintains a slim 7.6mm profile.
Samsung has committed to six major Android updates along with six years of security updates, giving the Galaxy M07 a strong edge in long-term support compared to many budget smartphones.
For now, the Galaxy M07 appears to be available only in black. While it isn’t in stock yet, users can sign up on Samsung’s online store to be notified once it goes on sale.
