Details surrounding the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 and its expected global counterpart, the Poco X8 Pro, are starting to surface. According to a new report from XiaomiTime, both devices have now appeared in the IMEI database, suggesting their launch is inching closer. The Redmi Turbo 5 is rumoured to debut in January 2026, while the Poco X8 Pro is likely to follow in international markets as a rebranded version.
To recall, Redmi Turbo 4 was launched in China earlier in 2025 and was later rebranded as the Poco X7 Pro for global markets.
The IMEI database now lists the model number 2511FRT34C, which is reportedly linked to the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5. Alongside it, two other model numbers, 2511FPC34G and 2511FPC34I, have also appeared. These are believed to be the global and Indian versions of the Poco X8 Pro, respectively.
It’s important to note that while these model numbers are now public, the IMEI database does not confirm their official names yet.
Leaked reports suggest the Redmi Turbo 5 will sport a 6.6-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution. Powering the device could be the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, offering a solid performance boost.
The phone is also expected to feature a slim and lightweight metal frame design, continuing the Turbo line’s focus on high-performance aesthetics.
