After launching the Redmi Note 12 series and prepping for the Redmi 12 India launch on August 1st, the Chinese smartphone brand is also said to be working on the Note 13 series.

Currently, there is no specific launch timeline, but a report suggests that the phone might be launched soon in the global market because a possible Redmi Note 13 5G, along with another Redmi phone, has been spotted at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is preparing for the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series successor in the form of the Redmi Note 13 5G lineup.

The launch date of the Redmi Note 13 series is yet to be revealed, the handsets in this upcoming series have started being spotted on a few certifications. The Redmi Note 13 series device which goes by model number 2312DRAABC was listed on the IMEI database.

Another Redmi Note 13 series device has received the EEC certification. Except the Redmi Note 13 series smartphone, one more Redmi handset has cleared the EEC certification.

Redmi Note 13 Series Smartphone Gets EEC Certification

The Redmi Note 13 series smartphone listed on EEC certification carries model number 2312DRAABG.
The marketing name of the handset is yet to be revealed.
It is possible that the handset could debut as Redmi Note 13 5G.

Another Redmi smartphone which has received the EEC certification carries model number 23090RA98G.
Currently, the specifications of the Redmi Note 13 series remain unknown. However, recent information shared by Digital Chat Station suggests that the Redmi Note 13 series could debut in the second half of 2023 with a 6.7-inch display.

Similar to the Redmi Note 12 series, we can expect the upcoming Redmi Note 13 lineup to come with a couple of smartphones.

We can also expect the upcoming Redmi Note 13 series devices to boot MIUI 15 software skin on top. In a recent news, Redmi recently unveiled the latest smartphone in the Redmi Note 12 series, the Redmi Note 12R by the end of last month in China.

It is the world’s first smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC.
The handset boasts a 6.79-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone packs up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also has microSD card support for storage expansion beyond 256GB.

When it comes to imaging, the Redmi Note 12R features a dual-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens.

On the front side, the device features an 8MP camera with an f/2.1 aperture.
The rest of the features which the handset offers include a 5,000mAh battery, 18W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, AI face unlock, an IP53 rating, a dual-SIM card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The price of the device in China starts at RMB 999 (approx. Rs 11,315), and the phone comes in Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Sky Fantasy colours.

Redmi Note 13 5G Launch Timeline

Redmi Note 13 5G will be launched under Redmi Note 13 series.
Tipster Digital Chat Station recently claimed that the Redmi Note 13 series should be released in the second half of 2023.

Redmi Note 12R was released in China last month after the launch of Redmi Note 12R Pro.
The phone features Snapdragon 4 Gen2 SoC, where as the Pro version featured the Snapdragon 4 Gen1 chipset.
