Realme has officially confirmed its presence at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, an event where it will introduce the Realme 14 Pro series to a global audience. But that’s not all, the brand has also teased a new “Ultra” flagship smartphone with a major focus on photography.
While the teaser hints at advanced camera technology, it’s unclear whether this device will be a full-fledged launch or just a concept showcase.
The teaser image reveals a large circular camera module suggesting the presence of an ultra-large sensor and an optical telephoto lens. According to Realme, this sensor is larger than what’s currently available in flagship smartphones.
The brand also shared zoom comparison shots seemingly targeting competitors like the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, both of which lack a 1-inch sensor and 10x optical zoom.
Adding to the excitement, a teaser video suggests the possibility of a lens attachment system hinting at DSLR-level photography capabilities. Shared on Realme Global’s official handle on X (formerly Twitter), Realme captioned “What is this real DSLR-level smartphone camera in Francis’s hands? The answer will be revealed at MWC 2025!”

The Realme Ultra flagship will be unveiled between March 3-6 at MWC 2025.
