After Realme launched Neo 7 in China last month featuring Dimensity 9300+, 7000mAh Battery, 80W Charging and 6000-nit Display, it is now gearing up for Realme Neo7 SE. The smartphone has been in speculation for a while but the brand has finally shared an official confirmation. Here’s everything we know about the phone so far.
Realme has officially announced the Neo 7 SE as a smartphone set to launch in China next month. The confirmation came through the brand’s Weibo account after teasers of a new addition to the Neo 7 lineup last month.
The official teaser also confirmed that Realme Neo 7 SE will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Max chipset. While the name differs slightly from its competitor Redmi’s Dimensity 8400 Ultra, these variations are often just marketing terms with no significant technical differences.
Meanwhile, popular tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo also shared additional details about the upcoming Neo 7 SE. According to the tipster, the phone will reportedly pack a 7,000 mAh battery, similar to the original Neo 7 model.
DCS’s Weibo post also revealed that the device is expected to offer enhanced heat dissipation and optimised performance tuning, hinting at better gaming and multitasking capabilities.
Certain reports have also suggested that Realme is working with Chuang Ge to fine-tune the device further for performance.
With the February launch confirmed, Realme is likely to release more official teasers in the coming weeks including the exact launch date and additional features.
As for more specs and look, we can expect more details to emerge as the launch date approaches.
