Realme appears to be preparing a new addition to its budget-focused C-series lineup, the Realme C81. The smartphone has recently surfaced online revealing key details such as storage variants and colour options. It also hinted that its official launch may not be far away. Here are more details.
According to details shared in an exclusive 91Mobiles report, the Realme C81 with model number RMX5388 is expected to be available in two configurations such as 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB storage.

In terms of colour options, the device could be offered in Glacier Blue Asia and Storm Black Asia variants.
A notable detail mentioned in the report reveals that the Realme C81 shares the same model number as the Realme Note 80. This model was launched earlier this year in markets like the Philippines. This strongly indicates that the C81 could be a rebranded version of the Note 80 for the Indian market. If true, this would not be the first time Realme rebrands a phone for a different market.
Realme Note 80 features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 563 nits. The device is expected to be powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and it may run on Android 15 with Realme UI on top.
Among other specs, the smartphone packs 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera and a 6,300mAh battery with support for 15W charging. The device also feature MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.
Notably, Realme has not yet officially confirmed the launch of the Realme C81. But if the leaks are accurate, the device could soon make its debut in India. Anyhow, we can expect more concrete details to surface in the coming weeks.
