Realme is prepping up for the launch of the Realme GT Neo 6 smartphone.
A couple of days back the key details of the device was revealed by a tipster on Weibo.
Additionally, the renders of the handset was disclosed which confirmed details such as triple-camera setup, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, NFC, and SUPERVOOC charging support.
The images of the Realme GT Neo 6 series smartphones were also revealed yesterday through TENAA certification. Now, the TENAA certification listing is updated with detailed specifications.
Additionally, the GT Neo 6 lineup has received the 3C certification.
Realme is reportedly planning to launch the Realme GT Neo 6 series of flagship phones later this month or August of this year.
Recent reports have revealed that the Realme phones with RMX3820 and RMX3820 are the two variants of the Realme GT Neo 6.
The RMX3820 could be called the Realme GT Neo 6 240W or the Realme GT Neo 6 Pro, whereas the RMX3823 could be the standard version with the Realme GT Neo 6 name.
The two variants have now appeared on TENAA with all the important specifications. Continue reading ahead to learn what to expect from the GT Neo 6 series.
The upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 series devices carry numbers RMX3820 and RMX3823 respectively at the 3C and TENAA certifications.
We can expect the Realme RMX3820 to debut as vanilla Realme GT Neo 6, whereas the RMX3823 could launch as Realme GT Neo 6 Pro.
The 3C certification listing reveals that the RMX3820 will offer 150W fast charging support, whereas the RMX3823 model will support 240W fast charging.
Furthermore, the specifications revealed by the TENAA listing disclose that the RMX3820 model will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 2772 × 1240 pixel resolution.
The smartphone will debut in 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM configuration along with 128GB/256GB/512GB and 1TB storage.
Powering the device under the hood there will be an octa-core 3.2GHz processor, which could be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
As for the optics purpose, the Realme RMX3820 will flaunt a triple-camera setup. The camera module will include a 50MP, primary camera, a secondary 8MP lens, and a 2MP sensor.
For selfies and video-calling purpose, the handset will rely on a 16MP camera. Dimensions-wise, the device will measure 163.1×75.38×8.86mm and weigh around 205 grams.
Last but not least, the smartphone will pack a dual-cell 2,540mAh battery, and the handset will support 5G connectivity.
Moving onto the specifications of the Realme RMX3823, the handset will also sport a 6.74-inch AMOLED display. The device will be powered by 3.2GHz SoC.
Similar to RMX3820, the RMX3823 will also come in 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM configuration along with 128GB/256GB/512GB and 1TB storage.
Furthermore, the smartphone will pack a dual-cell 2225mAh battery.
The smartphone will feature a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP sensor, and a 2MP lens. The front of the handset will include a 16MP selfie camera.
Currently, the launch date of the Realme GT Neo 6 series is not revealed. However, a previous leak suggests that the GT Neo 6 lineup will debut in Q3 2023.
As per the TENAA listing of the Realme GT Neo 6 with model number RMX3820, it will come with a 6.74-inch OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels. It is expected to support a 144Hz refresh rate.
The device is expected to arrive with the Android 13 OS and Realme UI 4.0. The RMX3820 edition seems to pack a 5,200mAh dual-cell battery, which may support 100W or 150W charging.
However, the TENAA listing mentions the size of a single cell as 2,540mAh.
The RMX3820 variant is powered by a 3.2GHz octa-core process, which appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
It will arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB of storage.
It will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera setup.
As per reports, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support.
The device is equipped with other features, such as an IR blaster and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Realme GT Neo 6 240W has the specifications as the standard variant but seems to pack a different-sized battery.
TENAA lists the size of one of its battery cells as 2,225mAh, which suggests that it may pack a 4,600mAh battery and support 240W charging like the Realme GT Neo 5 240W.
Realme launched the GT Neo 5 with mind-blowing 240W fast charging back in February, and now it is already preparing for the next series, the GT Neo 6.
Two versions were certified in China, RMX3820 and RMX3823, and now these phones appeared on TENAA, revealing the looks of the new lineup.
The Realme GT Neo 6 phones will have three cameras and a transparent part, but this time the island spans from one end to another and protrudes similarly to the Google Pixel 7 series.
The regulator will post the specs of the two versions once they are cleared for certification but we expect the vanilla GT Neo 6 to have a Dimensity 9200 chipset, while the GT Neo 6 Pro could bring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Both devices are likely to have a 6.74” AMOLED screen and a 50 MP main camera, and we have to wait and see whether the chipset will be the major difference or charging will also differ.
Since they are certified, their launch is clearly just around the corner, and we will follow Realme’s social media channels closely for the official announcement.

Ans) As seen in the images, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 will feature a triple-camera setup at the back accompanied by a LED flash. Furthermore, the press renders also reveal that the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The device will also have SUPERVOOC fast charging and NFC support.
The power and volume keys will be located on the right side of the handset. Considering that the Realme GT Neo 5 has RGB lights beside the Snapdragon logo at the rear, we can expect the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 to offer the same. And these are the only details, we can grab from the press renders.
Ans) As far as the specifications go, the Realme GT Neo 6 is tipped to feature an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The smartphone’s display might offer a 144Hz refresh rate. Currently, the display size of the device remains unknown. As confirmed by the render, the Realme GT Neo 6 will come with Qualcomm’s flagship 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset accompanied by Adreno 740 GPU.
The previous leak also suggests that the device will feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS support. Furthermore, the handset is expected to pack a bigger battery which could support 100W fast charging. We can expect this upcoming smartphone to boot Android 13 out of the box with Realme UI 4.0 skin on top. Similar to the Realme GT Neo 5, the GT Neo 6 might debut in 12GB/16GB RAM configuration along with 256GB/512GB of internal storage.
Ans) The leaked renders reveal the Realme GT Neo 6 with a slim profile with the volume rocker and power buttons located on the right side. There is a dual-toned back panel with the camera module in Black color and the rest of the panel has a Green hue.
The Realme GT Neo 6 is also seen with a protruding rectangular-shaped horizontal module that looks similar to the recent-generation Pixel phones.
The camera island has two rings on the left side housing three sensors. The right side of the module seems to feature a transparent panel with a Snapdragon logo. It reveals a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor on the Realme GT Neo 6. The device will also come with NFC support. This is everything that the leaked renders reveal.
