Realme has officially confirmed the launch of the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition set to be unveiled later this month. According to Realme’s Vice President and China President Xu Qi, this phone is designed for young gaming enthusiasts focusing on performance, battery life and gaming rather than camera capabilities. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming smartphone ahead of its launch.
While Realme’s official teaser confirms the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition name, it doesn’t reveal much about the device itself. However, reports suggest that this is a tweaked version of the GT 7 Pro and maintains most of the same specs but drops the periscope telephoto camera.
It might also swap the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for an optical one.
The phone is expected to compete with the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and iQOO Neo10 Pro in the same price segment. Notably, it could be the most affordable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the GT 7 Pro Racing Edition will debut next week in China.
The GT 7 Pro Racing Edition has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks scoring 3,063,313 points, a slight improvement over the GT 7 Pro’s 3,025,991. For comparison, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro got 3,218,978 and the iQOO Neo10 Pro scored 3,204,156 on the same benchmark.
This suggests the Racing Edition will be a powerhouse for mobile gaming.
