Realme is gearing up to introduce a new smartphone in its T-series lineup with the launch of Realme 16T 5G. It is expected to debut as early as next month and the phone is started appearing in online certification platforms now ahead of the official announcement.
Recently, the smartphone has surfaced on Geekbench revealing some of its key hardware specifications. Here’s what we know about the device based on recent appearance and earlier certification sightings.

In a recent X post, tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd revealed that Realme 16T 5G carrying the model number RMX5268 has appeared on Geekbench with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The chipset is listed with a CPU configuration of two performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz. It is paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics performance.
The listing further confirms that the smartphone will run on Android 16 and will be equipped with 8GB of RAM suggesting a focus on smooth multitasking and everyday performance.
Interestingly, the Realme 16T 5G chipset choice seems a bit underwhelming. For context, predecessor Realme 15T 5G was launched in September last year and was powered by the Dimensity 6400 Max 5G processor. As of now, MediaTek has not introduced a successor to the Dimensity 6400 series but Realme has opted for the Dimensity 6300 in the upcoming model.
Previously, a Realme smartphone with model number RMX5268 was spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website. While name was not mentioned in the certification, it was believed to that the Realme 16T 5G could be heading to the Indian market soon with an official launch expected in the near future.
Apart from this, reports suggest upcoming Realme 16T 5G is likely to be offered in multiple configurations including 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
The smartphone is expected to be available in Aurora Green, Starlight Black and Starlight Red colour options.
Other details about the Realme 16T 5G are not known at this stage. However, more information about the device is expected to surface in the coming days as the launch timeline approaches.
