Realme is likely gearing up for the global release of its Realme 12 Pro series.
While reports of the launch have been there for a while, they have now gathered more fuel after the devices were spotted on a certification website in the UAE.
As per reports, the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ have successfully passed the TRDA certification, marking a significant step towards their launch.
The Realme 12 Pro, with the model number RMX3842, and the Realme 12 Pro+, RMX3840 were previously listed on India’s BIS and Indonesia’s TKDN portals, as well.
Reports from Digital Chat Station suggest that both models in the Realme 12 Pro series will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, based on a 4nm architecture.
In terms of camera technology, the Realme 12 Pro is rumoured to feature a 32MP telephoto lens powered by the Sony IMX709 sensor, offering 2X optical zoom.
The Realme 12 Pro+, on the other hand, is expected to house a 64MP periscope lens with 3X optical zoom, backed by the Omnivision OV64B sensor.
Apart from all this, leaked renders of the Realme 12 Pro suggest a circular camera setup, bearing resemblance to the design aesthetic of the OPPO Find X6 Series from the previous year.
The Realme 12 Pro Series is anticipated to make its debut in the first quarter of 2024.
This timeline aligns with the company’s usual product release schedule, as seen with the launch of the Realme 11 Pro Series in June 2023 and the subsequent release of the Realme 11.
The upcoming launch of the Realme GT 5 Pro in select global markets is also likely to solidify Realme’s positioning on the global scale.
We will keep you apprised of any developments that are likely to emerge about the Realme 12 Pro series.
