Realme is gearing up to launch its latest smartphone, which could be very likely the Realme 12+ 5G, in India.
A teaser microsite is already live on Realme India’s website, hinting at the device’s arrival under the Realme 12 series.
Described as the “One More Plus” smartphone, the new Realme phone aims to offer value in the mid-range segment.
At least that’s what one can make out from the teaser on the microsite.
While the official name is yet to be confirmed, it is widely expected to be the Realme 12+ 5G, following a comprehensive leak.
The smartphone is set to make its global debut on February 29 in Malaysia, with an Indian launch anticipated soon after.
The Realme 12+ 5G is expected to bring several upgrades to the series, featuring a leatherette finish on the back panel as confirmed by the teaser and previous MIIT certification.
Leaks suggest the Realme 12+ 5G will have a flat-edge design and a circular camera island.
According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the device will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera setup is rumoured to include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
It’s also expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery supported by 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, as indicated by the FCC database.
Realme India’s website teaser suggests the Realme 12+ 5G is launching soon, following its global debut in Malaysia on February 29. The exact date for India is yet to be announced.
