A new leak has revealed the launch timeline of the Poco X8 Pro Series lineup, while also sharing early benchmark results for the Poco X8 Pro Max. Recent certifications and renders have previously highlighted key design details and possible hardware specifications. So, here’s everything we know about the upcoming Poco series after the recent leaks.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd on X, the Poco X8 Pro Max and Poco X8 Pro could launch in India by mid-March.
That’s not the only thing the tipser revealed. In the same X post, the tipster also shared a benchmark screenshot and claimed that an early test unit of the Pro Max variant achieved an AnTuTu benchmark score of 36,12,095. The screenshot further reveals that the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s. It had a CPU score of 951,052 points and a GPU score of 1,452,620 points, based on AnTuTu version V11.0.3-OB3.
However, the screenshot shared by the tipster does not mention the name of the smartphone anywhere. It instead mentions that the device could be a rooted version.
In any case, if this score holds true, the device could be positioned as a performance-focused smartphone in the upper mid-range segment.
Although Poco has not officially confirmed the launch date, a mid-March debut suggests that more teasers and announcements may surface soon.
A recent TDRA certification listing reveals that model numbers 2511FPC34G and 2602BPC18G will debut as the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max, respectively.
Additionally, the Poco X8 Pro Max has appeared on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification database. The listing confirms that the device received approval on February 26, 2026, under certificate number 119108/DJID/2026. The certification identifies the model number as 2602BPC18G and confirms the marketing name “Poco X8 Pro Max,” indicating that the handset is also headed to the Indonesian market.
Leaked renders of the Poco X8 Pro suggest a matte flat rear panel with gently curved edges and a vertically aligned, pill-shaped dual-camera module. It is expected to feature a flat display with slim bezels, a centred hole-punch cutout for the front camera, and an orange-accented power button on the right side.
In terms of specifications, the Poco X8 Pro is rumoured to sport a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset and could feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
The device is also expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
The Poco X8 Pro Max appears to follow a similar design language and colour palette, although slightly larger camera rings hint at possible hardware enhancements.
Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Pro Max is tipped to offer a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display and run on the Dimensity 9500s processor. The camera setup may include a 50-megapixel Light Hunter 600 main sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The Pro Max variant is also said to house a substantial 8,500mAh battery with similar fast charging capabilities.
With multiple certifications already in place and benchmark scores surfacing online, the Poco X8 Pro series launch in India could be just weeks away.
