Nothing has officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming over-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphone (a). The brand shared a short teaser announcing that the new audio product will debut on March 5, the same day as the Nothing Phone (4a) series. Here’s what we know so far.
The teaser image, shared on all official Nothing social media pages, reveals a yellow colour variant of the upcoming audio accessory. It appears similar to the shade previously seen on the Nothing Ear (a). Based on the limited glimpse provided, the design appears close to the Nothing Headphone (1) with the product name “Nothing Headphone (a)” engraved in a dot-matrix font.
The headphones seem to feature a grey metallic edge with a dotted texture, adding to the brand’s distinctive aesthetic.
Meanwhile, a recent 9to5Google report further revealed that Nothing, in an email for 9to5Google folks, said the Headphone (a) will “[introduce] bold colourways and [deliver] the longest battery life of any Nothing audio product to date.”
The company also hinted at improved endurance in a forum post that reads, “Your playlist has an end. We made sure the sound doesn’t.”
The Nothing Headphone (a) has also received certification from Singapore’s IMDA authority, confirming the product name and signalling an imminent launch in the region. The listing on the IMDA website confirms certification for sale in Singapore but does not disclose additional specifications. The model number listed is B186.
Recent leaks suggest the Headphone (a) will be available in black, pink, white, and yellow colour options. The headphones are tipped to be priced at EUR 159 (approximately Rs. 17,300) in Europe and GBP 149 (roughly Rs. 18,700) in the UK.
The Nothing Headphone (a) is expected to serve as a more affordable alternative to the Nothing Headphone 1. For reference, the Headphone 1 was launched at EUR 299 (around Rs. 32,500) and was introduced at Rs. 21,990 in India last year.
