POCO India is gearing up for a launch this December, introducing the much-anticipated POCO M6 5G smartphone.
The company has confirmed that the launch is set for December 22 and it will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
The POCO M6 5G will be the latest addition to the POCO M6 series, following the earlier launch of the POCO M6 Pro 5G in September 2023.
This new device is slated to be the successor to the POCO M4 5G, launched in April 2022.
POCO India has announced that the launch event will be a recorded streaming, accessible through the brand’s social media platforms starting at noon on the 22nd.
POCO has teasingly referred to the M6 5G as “The Real 5G Disrupter,” indicating its potential to shake up the affordable 5G segment.
As mentioned above, the smartphone will be a Flipkart exclusive, a common trend seen with most POCO phones in recent years.
The design of the POCO M6 5G includes a stylish purple shade, a water-drop notch for the selfie camera, and a clean left side with just the SIM card tray.
The right side of the device houses the power button and volume rockers.
POCO is set to equip the M6 5G with a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP primary camera with AI support, paired with an LED flash.
The camera layout is consistent with POCO’s design language, featuring a large rectangular structure with prominent branding.
Based on leaks from reliable tipsters, it is speculated that the POCO M6 5G might be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C 5G.
