Panel shipments for the M4 MacBook Air and iPhone SE 4 will start soon.
Rumours signal an early 2025 release.
Both products could launch in early March next year.

As teased by Apple’s marketing VP Greg Joswiak recently, Apple is all set to introduce several new M4 Macmodels in the coming week.
Even though the MacBook Air won’t be part of that lineup, recent reports indicate fans won’t have to wait much longer for a refreshed MacBook Air.
According to display analyst Ross Young, shipments for displays for both the new MacBook Air and iPhone SE 4 are about to start.
In subscriber-only posts on X, Young noted that panel shipments for the M4 MacBook Air are set to begin this month, signalling that the device’s release is likely just a few months away.
The iPhone SE 4’s display shipments, meanwhile, are expected to kick off in November. With typical lead times of about three months, both products appear on track for an early 2025 launch.
Based on Apple’s pattern, early March seems a likely timeframe for both devices. The M3 MacBook Airdebuted in March of this year, while the last iPhone SE launched in March 2022.
Both the new MacBook Air and iPhone SE could be released in March 2025.
Young also revealed that there is a possibility that the new MacBook Air will be available in both 13.3 and 15.3-inch sizes. However, any change to the smaller display size seems highly unlikely.
Apple probably won’t alter the display size for just one of the MacBook Air models as of now. It appears the company is focusing on the device’s release timing rather than a size adjustment.
As for now, Apple will release the new MacBook Pros, Mac Minis and iMacs in the coming week.
A refreshed Mac Studio is also expected to be launched sometime between March and June next year after a software release in March.

The iOS 18 update is getting all sorts of useful features along with some really cool integrations between iPhone and popular apps. One such feature that Snapchat users will particularly enjoy was recently revealed in a recent Engadget report.
As per the report, iPhone users will be able to access the Snapchat camera from the iPhone Lock Screen after the iOS 18 update.
The new feature will basically allow iPhone users to replace the standard Camera app and flashlight for apps or shortcut actions of their choice.
The feature iOS 18 is introducing is the ability to change the Lock Screen controls
The usefulness of the Camera app icon has been reduced iPhone users can always access the camera by swiping right-to-left, a method considered much quicker.
As per Engadget, Apps will have to add support for the feature and Snapchat is one of the first apps to do so. “Snapchat users will soon be able to launch the app’s camera directly from the iPhone lock screen, thanks to an app update,” Engadget mentions in the report.
The report further clarified, “Tapping the button will launch Snapchat’s “Camera Only” mode. This will, technically, let you create a Snap, but there’s a major caveat. The lock screen allows users to take photos, but not add filters or post anything. For that, you’ll have to unlock the phone with Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode and open the actual app.”
This feature will be available after the app update scheduled for later this week. So, Snapchat users will have to update their App and iPhone to be able to utilise this unique feature.
That’s actually not all. According to Engadget, iPhones with iOS 18 will also be able to use the iPhone volume buttons to capture a Snap while the Snapchat app is open on the screen.
All you have to do is press any of the volume buttons to take a photo and hold it to start recording a video.
iOS 18 is set to roll out globally later this week.

Generative image editing is everywhere now to the point that it is often difficult to identify real images from AI-edited images.
Google Photos is now taking the lead to make it easier to see if an image has been edited with AI.
As per recent reports, Google Photos is adding a new “AI info” section to the photo details.
In a time where generative AI on image editing is making complex image adjustments widely accessible to users, such tags can be very helpful in identifying what’s real.
“AI Info” Section in Google Photos
Google Photos is going to identify such edits through an info section
Google announced the details of the new feature in a blog post titled “More transparency for AI edits in Google Photos.”
With the new Google Photos update users can swipe up on an image in Google Photos to get a new “AI info” section under “Details” for images that includes AI editing elements.
The “AI Info” details will appear along with the file name, backup status and location. It will identified by an “i” icon with a sparkle.
John Fisher, Engineering Director of Google Photos and Google One, mentioned in the blog post, “Photos edited with tools like Magic Editor, Magic Eraser and Zoom Enhance already include metadata based on technical standards from The International Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC) to indicate that they’ve been edited using generative AI. [..] Now we’re taking it a step further, making this information visible alongside information like the file name, location and backup status in the Photos app.”
The new “AI info” section will show details in two specific fields including Credit and Digital Source Type.

The “Credit” field notes edits made with Google’s AI, using tags like “Edited with Google AI” or “Made by Google AI” for edits created in tools like Pixel Studio and Gemini.
On the other hand, the “Digital Source Type” field specifies the types of edits applied.
The “Edited using Generative AI” indicates the use of tools like Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and Zoom Enhance.
While Zoom Enhance is exclusive to Google devices, the “Magic” tools are available to all Google Photos users on Androidand iOS.

Secondly, there will be a “Composite of captured elements” to mark features like Best Take and Add Me, exclusive to Pixel devices, which don’t use AI but don’t capture an actual single moment.
As per Google’ss blog post, the “AI Info” tag will not be limited to Google tools. Google is expanding this to apply to images that follow metadata standards set by the International Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC), which includes both “Credit” and “Digital Source Type” details.
Google also highlighted that removing distractions, enhancing lighting and creating new compositions are now easier thanks to AI.
“As we bring these tools to more people, we recognize the importance of doing so responsibly with our AI Principles as guidance,” says Google.
Google is also flagging images created by blending multiple photos, such as those produced by the “Best Take” feature on Pixel phones.
Looking forward, Google aims to expand transparency around AI edits, reinforced by its recent partnership with the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA).
“This work is not done, and we’ll continue gathering feedback and evaluating additional solutions to add more transparency around AI edits,” Fisher wrote in the blog post.

Demands funding for his Cambridge dream in exchange.
The domain name acquisition went viral with mixed reactions.
Reliance declined the developer’s proposal and hinted at possible legal action.

The Indian entertainment industry is anticipating a major restructuring with the much-anticipated merger between JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar.
Industry analysts have predicted that the merged platform could soon dominate the Indian streaming space. The merger deal has been in the spotlight for quite a few months now but the recent news has taken every by surprise.
In an unexpected move, a tech-savvy individual from Delhi has acquired the domain name JioHotstar.com anticipating the future of the merged platform. While this could complicate plans for a unified streaming service under that name, the techie had some demands planned. Here’s the complete story.
Details of the JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar deal have been under wrap for now, but certain rumours suggested that the combined platform could be named JioHotstar.
Before the rumour could be confirmed, it was reported that the domain name JioHotstar.com had already been claimed by a Delhi-based app developer.
The domain now leads to a simple webpage with the message “Best of Entertainment, Streaming Soon,” alongside a message for Reliance executives, explaining the story behind the domain’s acquisition.
The developer reveals that he seized the domain in early 2023 after hearing reports of a potential merger due to Disney+ Hotstar’ssubscriber loss, particularly after losing IPL streaming rights.
He shares, “I am an app developer based in Delhi, currently working on my startup. I came across news about Disney+ Hotstar’s dip in active users and thought Reliance could be the one to acquire it.”
Inspired by Jio’s past rebranding of Saavn to JioSaavn, he decided to check for the availability of the domain JioHotstar—and found it open.
The developer, however, isn’t looking for a quick gain.
In a heartfelt request on the domain’s homepage, he asks Reliance to help fund his dream of attending Cambridge University’s entrepreneurship program in exchange for the domain.
He shares his journey, explaining that a past project of his was selected for Cambridge’s Accelerate program but that financial constraints kept him from attending.
He writes, “Cambridge offers a full degree program in entrepreneurship, which I’ve always dreamed of pursuing but could never afford… I thought, ‘This might just be the opportunity to make that dream happen.”
The screenshots of the domain went viral on X (previously Twitter).

Many users quickly came in support of the developer and expressed how Reliance can easily support his education. A user on X wrote, “Not gonna lie this is a really smart move and I’m pretty sure that £93,345 ain’t going waste.”
Another user commented, “I hope some lawyer comes forward and represents him.”

Meanwhile, the developer also updated the webpage with news of his request to Reliance for £93,345—matching Cambridge’s program fees—which was turned down by Ambujesh Yadav, AVP of Commercials at Reliance.
Yadav reportedly declined the proposal, even hinting at possible legal action to reclaim the domain.
In the update, the developer wrote, “I don’t have the power to stand against Reliance. I might automatically lose access of this domain in few hours. If any legal professional could help, I would be grateful.”
As the merger moves ahead, it remains to be seen how Reliance responds to this unexpected incident.
FAQs
Q1. What did the Delhi-based developer do in anticipation of the JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar merger?
Answer. The developer acquired the domain name JioHotstar.com and requested funding for his Cambridge dream in exchange for the domain.

A video autoplay feature for channels is also being tested.
Ever since Meta acquired three of the most influential social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, the company has often picked a leaf from one app to replicate the feature on another.
WhatsApp somehow has been on the receiving end of features more than the other two apps.
The messaging app has introduced a variety of tools, including Communities, channels and end-to-end encryption to align with other apps like Instagram and Telegram to suit perfect modern communication needs.

So, keeping up with tradition, more hints and leaks are surfacing around the upcoming flagship series now more than ever.
Just last week, we read some hints about the possible Galaxy S25 colour choices and now we are hearing some more possibilities from another source.
Display analyst Ross Young took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal the rumoured colour choices for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series.
He shared that both the standard Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Plus will likely come in the following shades:
Moon Night Blue
Silver Shadow
Sparkling Blue
Sparkling Green
Finally, S25 colors.

In addition to the above-mentioned colours, the Galaxy S25 Plus may also get an exclusive Midnight Black option. This won’t be available for the base Galaxy S25.
These seem to be the standard colour options for most retailers. However, we have seen Samsung in the recent past offering some online exclusives for those who purchase directly from its website.
Samsung’s current flagship Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models feature exclusive colours like Jade Green, Sapphire Blue and Sandstone Orange. This is offered alongside standard options like Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow.
Moreover, Young in his post also confirmed the previously circulating rumours about the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s colour options. The Ultra model will reportedly come in the following colours:
