While the teaser hints at advanced camera technology, it’s unclear whether this device will be a full-fledged launch or just a concept showcase.

The brand also shared zoom comparison shots seemingly targeting competitors like the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, both of which lack a 1-inch sensor and 10x optical zoom.

Adding to the excitement, a teaser video suggests the possibility of a lens attachment system hinting at DSLR-level photography capabilities. Shared on Realme Global’s official handle on X (formerly Twitter), Realme captioned “What is this real DSLR-level smartphone camera in Francis’s hands? The answer will be revealed at MWC 2025!”

If true, this could mean that Realme’s Ultra phone might support interchangeable lenses making it a unique offering in the smartphone market. However, it remains to be seen whether this is a commercial product or simply a concept device showcasing Realme’s photography advancements.

Samsung has been a leader in the foldable smartphone space, but 2025 is shaping up to be a challenging year as competition pushes design limits. To stay ahead, Samsung seems to be making some major changes to its foldable lineup and new renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 give us an exciting first look.

The renders shared by OnLeaks and Android Headlines aren’t official but are based on hardware measurements used by phone case manufacturers. While there’s some room for interpretation, they still offer a reliable glimpse at what’s coming

One of the biggest rumoured changes is a much thinner design. Reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be just 9.5mm thick when closed including the camera bump, while it could be only 4.5mm thick when unfolded. The inner screen is said to expand to 8.2 inches, while the outer display could be 6.5 inches. The device might measure 58.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm when open suggesting a new aspect ratio.

If true, this would make the Z Fold 7 the largest-screen foldable in its category for now.

The Fold 7 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, the same chip used in the Galaxy S25 series, rather than Samsung’s Exynos processors.

The battery capacity is expected to remain unchanged, and while the camera setup may be similar to the Fold 6, rumours suggest a 200MP primary sensor could be in the works.

Samsung’s First Tri-Fold Smartphone?

image

In addition to the Fold 7 and Flip 7, Samsung is also rumoured to launch a tri-fold smartphone alongside them. Unlike Huawei’s Z-shaped foldable, Samsung’s version could have a G-shaped fold, which means the inner display stays protected when closed.

According to a Korean news report, multiple industry sources said, “The double-folding multi-fold phone is being developed and produced simultaneously with the Z series,” and “It seems that they will be released at the same time.”

Here’s what we know so far about the tri-fold device –

  • Unfolded screen size – 9.96 inches
  • Cover screen size – 6.49 inches
  • Production starts in April with mass production expected soon after
  • Only 200,000 units are expected and the launch might be limited to specific regions

If Samsung sticks to its usual schedule, all three devices including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 and tri-fold smartphone could be launched in July 2025.

Leakers Agree on iPhone 17 Lineup CAD Drawings Revealing Three Different Camera Designs

0

Highlights

  • Three major leakers including Majin Bu, Fixed Focus Digital and i Ice Universe confirm the same iPhone 17 CAD drawing.
  • The CAD drawings reveal a Single camera for the iPhone 17 Air, dual cameras for the iPhone 17 and triple cameras for the iPhone 17 Pro & Pro Max.
  • CAD drawings show button placements and camera layouts.

There have been multiple reports on iPhone 17 lineup including some contradictory reports by different leakers. However, for the first time, we have three well-known leakers backing the same CAD drawing of the complete iPhone 17 lineup. While leaks often have conflicting details, this level of agreement suggests the designs could be accurate. Here’s what we know.

Three Major Leakers Confirm the Same iPhone 17 CAD

Tipster Majin Bu is known for accurate leaks including the iPhone 16e name and was the first one to share the CAD drawing. Bu shared the pictures on X (formerly Twitter) simply captioning it, “iPhone 17 Lineup CAD.”

Shortly after, other popular tipsters Fixed Focus Digital and i Ice Universe also shared the same image on Weibo reinforcing its credibility.

What iPhone 17 Leaked CAD Drawing Reveals?

While CAD drawings don’t provide a full picture of how the devices will look, they do confirm key external details like button placements and camera layouts. For example, comparing the iPhone 17 Pro Max CAD to Sonny Dickson’s latest render shows how much detail these blueprints can (and can’t) reveal.

The red area in the CAD drawing isn’t a visible design element and it’s likely just a reference mark. Also, while we can see where the LiDAR sensor and flash are positioned, the drawing doesn’t clarify whether the camera module will be a single raised bump or split into two sections as suggested by Dickson.

One of the biggest takeaways from the CAD drawings is the varied camera designs across the lineup:

  • iPhone 17 Air – Single camera in a horizontal bump
  • iPhone 17 – Dual cameras in a vertical bump
  • iPhone 17 Pro & Pro Max – Triple-camera set up in a triangular arrangement

The designs appear quite different seeing them side by side, but the final finishes will likely give them a more cohesive look.

FAQs

Q1. Which leakers confirmed the same iPhone 17 CAD drawing?

Answer. Three major leakers including Majin Bu, Fixed Focus Digital and i Ice Universe have confirmed the same iPhone 17 CAD drawing.

Q2. What does the iPhone 17 CAD drawing reveal about the camera designs?

Answer. The CAD drawings reveal different camera setups across the iPhone 17 lineup: single camera (iPhone 17 Air), dual cameras (iPhone 17), and triple cameras (iPhone 17 Pro & Pro Max).

Q3. What key details do the CAD drawings confirm about the iPhone 17 lineup?

Answer. CAD drawings confirm key external details like button placements and camera layouts but don’t fully reveal all design elements such as the exact camera module configuration.

Foldable iPhone and Another New iPhone Design Expected in 2026, Reports Gurman

0

Highlights

  • Apple is developing its first foldable iPhone set to be released in 2026.
  • Another new mystery iPhone design is expected in 2026 with details yet to be disclosed.
  • Apple’s 2025 and 2026 plans include several new models.
  • 2025 iPhone 17 Air and a major design update for the base model iPhone 18 in 2026.

Apple just launched the iPhone 16e and four more iPhone models including the much anticipated ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air are set to arrive later this year. But if Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is to believe, 2026 could be even bigger for Apple with two brand-new iPhone designs in the works. It seems we will finally get to see the foldable iPhone and another mysterious model next year.

Two New iPhone Designs Expected in 2026

In his latest Power On newsletter, Gurman shared Apple’s iPhone roadmap for this year and next. While 2025 is bringing the iPhone 17 Air and design changes to the iPhone 17 Pro models, it’s what’s planned for 2026 that stands out.

Gurman reports via Bloomberg, “[Apple is] readying a skinnier iPhone for later this year and focused on finishing up development of its first foldable device for 2026. There’s also another new iPhone design in the works for that year, I’m told.”

There are two key takeaways from this. One, Apple’s foldable iPhone is still on track for a 2026 release and is nearing the end of development and two, a second iPhone next year will introduce a fresh design.

Interestingly, this is the first time we’ve heard about two new iPhone designs coming in the same year.

Gurman hasn’t shared details about this second new iPhone design, but it’s an interesting development especially since Apple is already introducing a redesigned 17 Air this year.

One possibility is that the base model iPhone 18 could see a major design update since it’s the only iPhone 17 model not expected to change much. However, Gurman’s wording suggests something more significant than just a base model refresh.

Apple’s 2026 iPhone plans are still a while away but these reports align with recent comments from CEO Tim Cook and hardware chief John Ternus about Apple’s increasingly ambitious iPhone roadmap.

In any case, we can expect more details to emerge as we get closer to 2026.

FAQs

Q1. What new iPhone designs are expected to be released by Apple in 2026?

Answer. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is finalizing the development of its first foldable iPhone, set to be released in 2026. Additionally, another new iPhone design is expected that year, with details yet to be disclosed.

Q2. What significant iPhone models are planned for release in 2024?

Answer. In 2024, Apple is set to release the iPhone 17 Air and introduce design changes to the iPhone 17 Pro models.

Q3. What is the focus of Apple’s iPhone development roadmap for 2026?

Answer. Apple’s 2026 iPhone development roadmap focuses on finishing up the development of its first foldable device and introducing another new iPhone design.

The Google Pixel 9a leaks and rumours have been all over the internet in the past few months, revealing key details about the phone. A new hands-on video has given us a closer look at the device, but not without raising some questions. Unfortunately, some online reports expressed concerns that the device in the leaked video looks cheaper than previous A-series models. Here’s all we know.

Hands-On Leak Shows a Cheaper Look

A new leaked video gives us a first look at the Pixel 9a’s Obsidian colour model. The biggest takeaway is it looks noticeably cheaper than the Pixel 7a and 8a.

While the hands-on video has been removed by the original poster, it is still visible in a Threads post by Shane Craig.

While previous A-series Pixels also used different materials than their flagship counterparts, they didn’t look as budget-friendly as this one. The camera bar and plastic rings in particular give it a cheaper aesthetic compared to past models.

That said, Craig later clarified that while the Pixel 9a may look cheap, it actually feels good in the hand, describing it as having a “Nokia Lumia” plastic aesthetic. The matte finish seems to align with the current-gen Pixel design, even if the camera bar change makes it stand out.

Google Pixel 9a – Is It A Budget-Friendly Flagship?

Google hasn’t officially announced the Pixel 9a yet, but recent leaks suggest that it could follow a familiar formula, which involves offering flagship-level features at a lower price. That means we’ll likely get the following features –

  • Tensor G4 processor
  • Up to 8GB of RAM
  • 120Hz OLED display
  • All the key Pixel software features

However, to keep costs down, Google typically makes hardware compromises with the build materials. Now, the leaked video made many tech enthusiasts believe that cheaper build materials could be Google’s choice again this year.

With all the leaks piling up, we can assume that Google might make things official soon. The real question is whether the Pixel 9a will feel premium enough to justify its price, or if the cheaper design will turn buyers away.

FAQs

Q1. How does the Pixel 9a look in the leaked video?

Answer. The leaked video shows that the Pixel 9a looks noticeably cheaper compared to previous A-series models with a camera bar and plastic rings contributing to its budget-friendly appearance.

Q2. How does the Pixel 9a feel in the hand according to Tech influencer Shane Craig?

Answer. Shane Craig noted that the Pixel 9a feels good in the hand, describing its plastic aesthetic as similar to the “Nokia Lumia.”

Q3. What are some expected features of the Pixel 9a according to the leaks?

Answer. Leaks suggest that the Pixel 9a could offer flagship features like a Tensor G4 processor, up to 8GB of RAM and a 120Hz OLED display at a lower price.

Apple is getting ready to launch new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models powered by the M4 chip soon. According to Mark Gurman’s latest report, the company is reportedly preparing for a March debut.

Rumours about the M4 MacBook Air have been circulating for months. Back in December, references to the new model even appeared in the macOS 15.2 beta hinting that a launch was imminent. The leaked software references the ‌MacBook Air‌ 13-inch M4 2025 and the ‌MacBook Air‌ 15-inch M4 2025″ which confirms that upcoming M4 ‌MacBook Air‌ models are in development and are most likely close to launching.

Gurman also had previously noted that the MacBook Air was on track to launch earlier than other spring products like the iPhone 16e and iPad Air.

However, the MacBook Air is still missing when the iPhone 16e has already arrived.

Now latest reports suggest that it is expected to change soon. Gurman reports that Apple is now preparing its marketing, sales and retail teams for the M4 MacBook Air launch. Moreover, the current M2 and M3 MacBook Air models are seeing low stock in stores, which further hints at an upcoming refresh.

Aside from the M4 chip, there aren’t many confirmed upgrades for the new MacBook Air. However, some possible improvements include the following –

  • Thunderbolt 4 support (instead of USB 4/Thunderbolt 3)
  • A centre-stage camera for better video calls
  • A nano-texture display option for reduced glare

These features have already appeared in other M4-powered Macs, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them on the new Air as well.

With Apple gearing up for launch, we should get official details very soon.
