This means that instead of having an A18 chip and a separate C1 modem, everything will be combined into one. However, this shift will take a few years to happen.

With the iPhone 16e, Apple quietly introduced its first-ever in-house 5G modem, the C1 modem. This was a key step in Apple’s long-term plan to replace Qualcomm modems in iPhones. However, for now, the C1 modem is exclusive to the iPhone 16e and isn’t available across the entire lineup.

Xiaomi is entering the world of AI-powered laptops with its first AI PC under development. During a recent livestream focused on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the company’s President Lu Weibing confirmed that Xiaomi’s first AI PC is in the works.

The Rio Red colour variant renders shared by Blass via a private account on X (formerly Twitter) give us a closer look at the foldable’s design. The phone appears to feature a vegan leather finish, which is evident from the grainy texture in the leaked images.

If enabled, the home screen badge will remain visible until you manually view unread messages and calls.
