The first images of the Oppo Reno 14 are out, and it looks like the official launch is just around the corner.

Oppo is gearing up to launch its next-generation lineup six months after introducing the previous generation Reno 13 series in China back in November 2024. The launch is likely sometime in May in its home market. Ahead of the launch, leaks about the Reno 14 series seem to be making the rounds online with the first leaked images recently popping up on Weibo.

Tipster DCS shared images showing off the Reno 14’s fresh new design.

It features a “cannon-style” camera layout made with cold-carving techniques, a big R-angle design and an aluminium alloy side frame, giving it a look that’s very similar to an iPhone.

According to DCS, the Reno 14’s texture and finish are so polished that it’s “almost impossible to tell the two apart at a glance.” The front of the phone hasn’t been shown yet, but it’s rumoured to have a flat display.

Oppo Reno 14 Series – Specifications (Rumoured)

Reports suggest the Reno 14 will have a 6.59-inch OLED display, while the Pro model will sport a larger 6.83-inch OLED screen. Both phones will use LTPS panels with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, they’re expected to pack the Dimensity 8350 chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a big 6,000mAh+ battery with support for 80W fast charging.

Other features could include an in-screen fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster and ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

Camera-wise, the Reno 14 series is expected to come with a 50-megapixel front camera. The standard model might feature a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor (with OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera using Samsung’s JN5 sensor. Meanwhile, the Pro variant could swap the regular telephoto lens for a periscope telephoto sensor, also with three 50-megapixel sensors in total.

As for the price, the Reno 14 lineup is expected to start at around 3,299 Yuan (roughly $450).

Meanwhile, we also have our first update on a brand-new pair of earbuds that the brand is all set to launch alongside the Reno 14. The first official teasers are now out

Oppo Smart Ecosystem Product Director Qiao Jiadong recently dropped a hint that a launch event is coming up in just over half a month, with official teasers kicking off soon. He revealed that the much-awaited Oppo earbuds are finally on their way and even shared a hand-drawn sketch showing that they’ll be shaped like little beans.

The new earbuds are rumoured to be called the Oppo Enco Clip when they launch in China. However, we still don’t know the exact specs.

Considering the fact that Oppo unveiled the Reno 12 series on May 23 in China, there’s a good chance the Reno 14 series and the Enco Clip earbuds could go official around the same time this year as well. Or else, the best we can assume is at least in the second half of May.
