OnePlus is getting ready to launch its next Ace-branded smartphones in May. The upcoming lineup, expected to be called the OnePlus Ace 5 series, will likely include two models, the OnePlus Ace 5s or possibly the OnePlus Ace 5 Supreme Edition and the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition.

This new chip is an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9300+, built using TSMC’s 4nm process. It promises big performance gains, even beating the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in some tests.

The Dimensity 9400e uses a full large-core setup, featuring four Cortex-X4 super cores and four Cortex-A720 large cores. In benchmark tests, it managed an impressive 95fps in the Aztec 1440p graphics test.

The Racing Edition will also come packed with OnePlus’s Fengchi gaming kernel, aimed at delivering a top-tier gaming experience. It could also feature a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and a huge 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
