OPPO has officially launched the F29 5G and F29 Pro 5G smartphones in India, keeping its promise of delivering durable and feature-packed devices. Both models come with FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED displays and are built with 360° Armour Body protection, ensuring durability even in harsh environmental conditions.
Commenting on the launch, the Head of Product Communications at OPPO India Savio D’Souza said, “The OPPO F29 Series is built for India — a true Durable Champion that blends strength, connectivity, and performance. From its industry-best IP ratings and military-grade toughness to our revolutionary Hunter Antenna and massive batteries — every aspect is engineered to support India’s road warriors. All this power, packed into a slim, stylish device, sets a new benchmark in the segment.”
OPPO claims the phones have passed 14+ military-grade tests, making them highly resistant to dust, water, shocks and extreme temperatures.
The OPPO F29 series has been tested under 14 Military Standard (MIL-STD-810H-2022) conditions, proving its resilience against heat, cold, shock, rain, dust, and even salt mist. Both phones carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, meaning they are highly resistant to dust and can survive accidental spills of liquids like coffee, tea, soda, and more.
