It seems OPPO will soon add a new pair of wireless earbuds to its growing lineup of products in China. Expected to launch later this month, we are getting the latest updates on the upcoming OPPO Enco X4 from a well-known Chinese tipster. Here’s what we know so far.
Oppo Enco X4 – Leaked Specification
According to the well-known tipster named Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo Enco X4 will sit in the premium segment and use an in-ear design. The tipster has also shared images in one of the recent Weibo posts that show a relatively compact charging case along with redesigned earbuds.
The changes indicate that Oppo could be working on both the styling and build of the new model compared with the previous-generation Enco X series earbuds.
The tipster further claims that the Enco X4 will offer improved sound quality as well as better active noise cancellation. There are no details yet about the drivers or the specific technology being used for ANC, so the extent of these improvements remains unknown.
One of the more interesting features expected in OPPO Enco X4 is AI-powered real-time translation. Leaked screenshots demonstrate the feature translating conversations between English and Simplified Chinese. The system will most likely work by processing spoken conversations through the earbuds and displaying the translated dialogue on a connected device. This could make the Enco X4 useful for people communicating with someone who speaks a different language.
The screenshots also show separate language controls for the two speakers along with playback controls that can be used to listen to translated sentences. Rather than treating translation as just another AI gimmick, Oppo appears to be developing it as a practical communication feature. However, it is not yet known which languages will be supported or whether the feature will be available outside China.
Oppo Enco X4 on TDRA Certification
Last month, the Enco X4 also made an appearance on the TDRA certification database. The listing identifies the product by model number ETEM2 and equipment registration number ER63531/26. The device is classified under the Bluetooth product category, while both its application and equipment registration are currently shown as active.
According to the certification details, the approval was issued on August 17, 2026. It will remain valid through August 16, 2029.
Oppo has not yet officially announced the Enco X4 or revealed its complete specifications. More information is expected to emerge as the company’s upcoming China launch event draws closer.
