Oppo has just introduced the Oppo A6 GT 5G in China. The launch comes after Oppo A6 Max 5G was introduced in the same market in a single 8GB+256GB model with two shades, Streamer White and Rock Mist Blue. Now, the GT version arrives with more storage options and three fresh colours. Here’s what we know about the newly launched device.

Reports also suggest that both the Oppo A6 GT 5G and A6 Max 5G could arrive in India later this month. However, they will most likely launch under a new name such as the Oppo F31 Pro+v.
The highlight of the A6 GT 5G is its massive 7,000mAh battery backed by 80W Super Flash Charge, promising long endurance with quick refuelling. Despite the huge battery, the phone keeps things sleek at just 7.7/7.86mm thickness and 198–204 grams in weight, depending on the variant.
On the front, the device sports a 6.8-inch flat AMOLED flexible display with 1.5K resolution (2800 × 1280 pixels), a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and up to 1,600 nits peak brightness. Security features include an under-display fingerprint scanner and AI-based face unlock. Out of the box, it runs on Android 15 with ColorOS.
Under the hood, Oppo has equipped the phone with the , paired with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset
LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage going up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
For cameras, the A6 GT carries a dual rear setup led by a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, alongside a 2MP monochrome sensor. The front packs a 32MP selfie shooter with 4K video recording support.
Other features include dual-SIM support, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C connectivity, and stereo sound.
