Called the OnePlus Pad, the tablet will cater to the mid-range segment and will take on the likes of the Xiaomi Pad 5, Realme Pad X, and others.
The OnePlus tablet mimics the brand’s smartphone design language as it boasts of metal construction, a brushed aluminium finish back, and a full-screen display with small bezels. OnePlus has just introduced the world’s first 7:5 aspect-ratio screen for tablets along with its first-gen Pad.
The inaugural ReadFit display is driven by the “ultra-efficient” Dimensity 9000 Plus SoC, backed for enhanced power as well as connectivity, particularly outdoors. The OnePlus Pad is also designed to support “immersive” quad-speaker audio, fast SuperVOOC charging and stylus/keyboard use out of the box.
It’s confirmed MediaTek Dimensity 9000 + platform that is rated for “5G Cellular Data Sharing” on the tablet. The OEM is confident that the new aspect ratio makes for an improved reading experience in particular.The Pad’s LCD screen is rated to refresh at up to 144Hz for content consumption in 2.8K (2800×2000) that is “smooth from every angle”.
OnePlus Pad supports Dolby Vision – and also Dolby Atmos for the custom “Omnibearing Sound Field” technology. They are backed to provide “immersive” audio via its speakers; then again, none of those are front-firing.
The Pad is also rated to support various cross-device data-sharing ecosystem features.
However, its brand is keeping prospective buyers waiting until April 2023 for it to go to pre-order; therefore, OnePlus’ first ever Android tablet remains without official pricing for its up-to-12GB RAM SKUs for nOW.
The OnePlus Pad also offers impressive specifications, such as a 144Hz high refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, and a 9,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The OnePlus Pad’s price in India has not been revealed yet.
However, it is expected to be around ₹39,999. The tablet will be available for preorders in April and it will come in a Halo Green colour option that is similar to the hue on the OnePlus 11.
Oneplus Pad sports a smooth metallic case on the back with a minimalistic design featuring just a camera and company branding and on the front, it sports an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD display with 2800 x 2000p resolution, HDR10+ support, 7:5 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass screen with Dolby Vision, adaptive refresh rate (60-144Hz) and support peak brightness up to 500 nits brightness and also boasts 2048 brightness adjustment levels.
It also comes with quad speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos audio system.
Inside, it houses a 4nm class 3.05GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor with Mali-G710 10-core GPU, Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1, 8GB / 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, 13MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP front camera for video chatting.
The OnePlus Tab despite being targeted at the mid-range market is no slouch .
The OnePlus Pad sips juice from an onboard 9,510mAh battery pack that is capable of fast charging at 67W and promises a 1-month standby time , promises to deliver 14.5 hours of video playback. It supports 67W SuperVOOC charging to give a full charge within 80 minutes.
The tablet will get a 13MP main camera at the back with an LED flash. Upfront, taking care of selfie and video call duties will be an 8MP shooter.
OnePlus has also extended support for Stylus and keyboard attachment which can greatly increase the productivity of the tablet.
Other features include Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, Omnibearing Sound Field, Seamless Integration with OnePlus smartphones, and more.
OnePlus Pad has the same iconic, elegant and purposeful design OnePlus is famous for.
In a first for a tablet, the front of OnePlus Pad uses a 2.5D rounded edge and has an 88% screen-to-body ratio thanks to a super slim 6.54mm bezel and a cambered frame and is designed to feel light and easy to hold for extended periods.
The screen is wrapped in a unified metal body constructed from aluminium alloy, engraved with OnePlus’s own Star Orbit engraving technology, and features a centred rear camera to give users a great experience.
OnePlus Pad will be available in Halo Green, a stunning shade designed to blend the vibrancy of life with the vastness of space.

OnePlus Pad is powered by the latest Dimensity 9000 chipset, the first mobile chip to sport a Cortex-X2 core clocked at up to 3.05GHz, and comes with up to 12GB RAM and RAM-Vita allowing users to juggle apps with ease.
OnePlus Pad has a 9510mAh battery designed to give over 14.5 hours of video watching and 1 month standby life and comes with 67W SUPERVOOC charging to give a full charge with 80 minutes.
Furthermore, OnePlus Pad supports seamless connection to OnePlus smartphones running the latest version of OxygenOS and can also automatically connect to the internet through the phone.
OnePlus Pad is designed for total entertainment with an 11.61in screen featuring Dolby Vision support, an industry-first 7:5 ratio and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, the highest in a tablet.
The unique screen allows for more lines of an ebook to be visible at once, more rows of a spreadsheet to be visible at once or, combined with the high refresh rate, a better than ever gaming experience.
OnePlus Pad is also an audio powerhouse, supporting Dolby Atmos and using OnePlus’s own omni bearing sound field technology which intelligently identifies the screen direction and automatically switches between left and right audio channels for a more immersive sound.
