OnePlus is all set to launch its next Nord series smartphones in India including the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. The official unveiling is scheduled for May 7 at 12 PM. Ahead of the launch, key details about the Lite variant including its sale date, specifications and features have already surfaced online. Here’s a roundup of everything we know about the phone.
Following the launch on May 7, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite will go on sale in India starting May 12 at 12 PM. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 6 model will be available earlier from May 8 at 12 PM.
Both smartphones will be sold via Amazon India, the OnePlus India website, OnePlus Experience Stores, and other offline retail outlets across the country.
As of now, the official pricing has not been announced. However, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is expected to be priced starting at around ₹20,000 in India.
The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite will be offered in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black colour options. In terms of design, it retains the look of its predecessor with a vertical pill-shaped camera module similar to the Nord CE 4 Lite.
The device comes with MIL-STD-810H certification ensuring better durability for everyday usage.
The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is expected to feature a 6.72-inch Full HD display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz for regular use, which can go up to 144Hz for supported apps delivering a smoother visual experience.
The smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, a slightly overclocked version of the standard Dimensity 7400 processor. The company claims that this chipset can achieve over 1,030,000 points on AnTuTu benchmarks. To handle thermals, the device includes a large 5,300mm² vapour chamber cooling system.
For photography, the phone will sport a 50MP primary rear camera with support for 4K video recording along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. It will also come equipped with several AI-powered features such as AI Perfect Shot, AI Detail Boost, AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser and more.
On the software side, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top. The company has promised five years of software updates, which suggests compatibility with future updates like ColorOS 16.1.
The device will be backed by a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. According to the brand, the battery can deliver up to two days of usage on a single charge.
