Under the hood, the Ultra model is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, while the Racing version will feature the newer Dimensity 9400e chip.
Both phones will have 120Hz refresh rate displays. The Racing model is expected to come with a 1080p screen, while the Ultra will have a sharper “1.5K” resolution. Previous leaks suggest the Ace 5 Racing will feature a 6.77-inch LTPS OLED display, a 50MP main camera, a 16MP front camera and a huge 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging.
The Ace 5 Ultra, on the other hand, is rumoured to pack a 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED screen, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It’s also expected to carry the same massive 7,000mAh battery, but with support for faster 100W charging.

Tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared the recent leak, has revealed more details about the Ultra. According to them, the Ace 5 Ultra is a gaming-centric smartphone. Along with the powerful Dimensity 9400+ chipset, it will also include features aimed at improving gaming performance.
Most notably, the Ace 5 Ultra is said to come with a 144Hz refresh rate display, marking the first time OnePlus has used a 144Hz screen. The brand usually sticks with 120Hz panels, even on premium models like the OnePlus 13 (currently priced at $878 on Amazon).
The Ultra will also include the Fengchi gaming kernel, which is designed to optimise CPU and GPU performance for a smoother gaming experience.
Both the Ace 5 Racing and Ace 5 Ultra will launch in China next week. However, there’s no word yet on whether these models will be released globally.
