OnePlus is all set to reveal a new smartphone in the Chinese market, which is being called the OnePlus Ace 3V.
The latest in a line of leaks and speculations have pained a clearer picture of the device’s supposed features and hardware details.
For the uninitiated, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro was launched in China back in August with top-tier specs and flagship-grade performance.
The Ace series is typically reserved for the Chinese market although rebranded versions often find themselves landing on international stores under the guise of the Nord moniker.
It is hard to assess if that will be the case here, but for now, let’s look at what leaks are saying about the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V.
As per a Weibo post by DigitalChatStation, the OnePlus Ace 3V is reportedly going to sport a 1.5K AMOLED screen and instead of an in-display implementation, there will be an integrated fingerprint sensor with the power button.
The post states that the Qualcomm’s SM7550 chipset, which is speculated to be the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, is going to power the device.
As such, one can expect the Ace 3V to offer dynamic performance and efficiency, thanks to TSMC’s cutting-edge 4nm technology.
The post also mentions that the phone is likely to be rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 4 or 5 for the international markets.
On the software front, the Ace 3V is likely to run on Android 13, complemented by ColorOS 13.
Its camera arsenal is expected to include a 64MP primary lens from OmniVision (OV64M), flanked by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens.
Selfie aficionados will appreciate the 16MP front-facing camera.
As for connectivity, the smartphone is projected to be 5G SA/NSA compatible, with additional support for Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS, NFC, and a USB Type-C interface.
Completing the package, the Ace 3V is anticipated to house a robust 5,000mAh battery, backed by an 80W SuperVOOC fast charging feature.
