While the leaker did not mention the name the device, tech enthusiasts were quick to realise what the post was in reference to. The specifications shared in a post closely align with previous reports surrounding the next-generation OnePlus flagship. Here’s more on what we know.

OnePlus 16 May Feature 185Hz Display

According to the latest post of tipster Digital Chat Station on Wiebo, a new smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset is currently undergoing testing through engineering prototypes.

One of the key highlights mentioned is a display capable of operating at a 185Hz refresh rate.

The claim strengthens earlier reports that suggested the OnePlus 16 would be powered by the same Snapdragon chipset. Previous leaks had also pointed towards a 185Hz refresh rate making the latest information appear more credible.
