Despite being just a few months into the lifecycle of the OnePlus 12, which launched in January 2023, speculation about the OnePlus 13 is already rife.
If the rumour mill proves accurate, we can expect the new flagship to make its grand debut towards the end of this year.
According to leaker Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus 13 will retain several key specifications from its predecessor while introducing a fresh design language.
One of the most notable rumoured features is a micro-curved WQHD+ display.
On the battery front, the OnePlus 13 is tipped to continue offering 100W fast charging capabilities seen in previous models.
Additionally, rumours suggest the inclusion of a substantial 5400mAh battery, although a slightly larger capacity wouldn’t be surprising.
Storage options for the OnePlus 13 are expected to mirror those of its predecessor, with 256GB and 512GB variants utilising the blazing-fast UFS 4.0 technology.
Perhaps the most significant upgrade could come in the form of the chipset powering the OnePlus 13.
Rumours point to the device being equipped with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
Additionally, the OnePlus 13 is also rumoured to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, adding an extra layer of security and convenience.
While the camera setup is expected to be impressive, with an expected triple-camera array featuring 50MP, 48MP, and 64MP sensors, some users may have hoped for more substantial upgrades in this department, potentially incorporating newer and more advanced sensor technology.
The front-facing camera, too, could remain unchanged at 32MP.
As for pricing, recent fluctuations in the cost of OnePlus devices have led analysts to speculate that the company will continue its value-oriented approach, potentially pricing the OnePlus 13 north of Rs 60,000 in India.
As the release date draws nearer, tech enthusiasts and OnePlus devotees will undoubtedly be keeping a close watch on further leaks and rumours, eagerly anticipating the official unveiling of the OnePlus 13 and the array of cutting-edge features it promises to deliver.
