OnePlus 11R to come with Alert Slider and IR Blaster, Suggests Leaked Live Image

While the OnePlus 11 series consisting of the flagship OnePlus 11 and the budget flagship OnePlus 11R is up for launch early next year, speculations are prevalent around both models. What recently caught the attention of tech bloggers across the industry were the leaked live images of the prototype of the OnePlus 11R – the budget flagship smartphone. Live images first shared by MySmartPrice on their official blog confirmed that the OnePlus 11R will be bringing back the OnePlus’ iconic Alert Slider feature. What is still believed to be in the testing phase, the One Plus 11R will also most likely be the first OnePlus smartphone to have an Infrared Blaster. Let’s take a quick look at the confirmed key OnePlus 11R features and specifications.

OnePlus 11R Features

The affordable flagship device – the onePlus 11R – will sport a fluid AMOLED display with a Full high definition plus resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The leaked images somewhat confirm the curved display that will have the front selfie shooter added inside the centred front camera punch-hole notch. There will also be an in-display fingerprint scanner.

As per the recent leaks, the iconic Alert slider will be making a comeback with the OnePlus 11R and that’s great news. The feature missing from the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus 10T has quite a few OnePlus enthusiasts disappointed.

As for the hardware, the OnePlus 11R will be powered by the cutting-edge octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor developed on TSMC’s 4nm process. OnePlus earlier used the same processor on the OnePlus 10T. However, for upcoming 11R will come with LPDDR5 RAM on the upcoming 11R.

Several leaks over time have already confirmed that the OnePlus 11R will feature a triple-rear camera setup, as was reconfirmed in the recent leaked live images as well. The triple-rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary shooter, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel shooter. The live images also reveal how the camera module design of this smartphone is almost identical to the previous flagship models OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T, both of which had squared or rectangle-shaped camera cutouts at the back. The rear camera will be accompanied by an LED flash.

OnePlus 11R will come with 5000mAh battery support. There hasn’t been any confirmation about the charging speed as of yet. However, since the smartphone will be using a single cell battery as per the speculations, several tech bloggers have guessed that it might come with 150W fast charging support.
