OnePlus-Reliance Jio Collaborate for Stand Alone 5G Tech Ecosystem in India

Needless to say, OnePlus is one of the biggest global premium technology brands in the world that has set new benchmarks in the past decade of its existence with some excellent devices in the smartphone, smartwatch, and others.

The latest news is that OnePlus is partnering with Jio, India’s largest digital services player, to bring in the evolutionary Stand Alone 5G technology ecosystem in India, mere months after the launch of 5G services in the country.

There was an innovative 5G collaboration between Jio and OnePlus at the renowned India Mobile Congress (IMC) held in Delhi wherein numerous 5G use cases were successfully demonstrated to Jio users with eligible OnePlus devices.

Due to the partnership between the two tech giants, all the OnePlus 5G devices, from now on, shall be powered by Jio True 5G technology, which will be a good beginning for the things to come.

OnePlus devices have gained access to Jio True 5G network from December 1, 2022 onwards, which includes OnePlus 10 Series, OnePlus 9R, OnePlus 8 Series as well as the Nord, Nord 2T, Nord 2, Nord CE, Nord CE 2 and Nord CE 2 Lite.

It has also been clarified that other devices like OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9RT will also be endowed with Jio True 5G network very soon so that none of their newer models are deprived of the privilege.

Along with the services, the consumers will get to avail numerous cashback benefits worth Rs.10,800 which will be provided for eligible OnePlus and Jio 5G users during the OnePlus anniversary sale period from December 13 to December 18, 2022.

The first 1000 beneficiaries will get an additional complementary Red Cable Care plan worth Rs.1499 and Jio Saavn Pro plan worth Rs.399, which is quite unique for an offer like this.
