Motorola is gearing up to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphone on April 29. Ahead of the official launch, a new leak has revealed key details along with a promo video of the upcoming device. The smartphone is expected to launch as the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 and will be named Razr 70 Ultra in regions outside the US. Here’s more on that.
Reliable and well-known tipster Evan Blass @evleaks on X has posted images and a promotional video of the device have on X. The material posted showcases the phone’s design and features with a major focus on its secondary display.
The leaked promo video highlights the capabilities of the large 4-inch secondary display on the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026. The cover screen appears highly versatile allowing users to view essential information like time, weather updates, date and remaining battery level.
Motorola is also said to offer multiple customisation options including different clock styles and the ability to add personal photos.

The secondary display shows charging animations when the device is plugged in enhancing the user experience.
One of the standout features demonstrated is the ability to use the cover screen as a viewfinder. Users can take selfies using the 50MP main camera or the 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens while using the external display for framing. The camera can also be triggered using a hand gesture for the self-timer, and the hinge mechanism allows the phone to act as a mini tripod for stable shots.
In terms of design, the Razr Ultra 2026 is expected to retain a similar look to its predecessor with minimal changes. The device is likely to be available in blue and brown colour options as shown in the leaked images.

As per earlier reports, the smartphone may not bring major hardware upgrades. It is tipped to feature a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery compared to the previous model. Motorola is expected to continue using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor that was also present in the earlier generation.
Despite limited upgrades, the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 is expected to see a price increase. Reports suggest that the smartphone may be priced at $1,499 up from the $1,299 launch price of its predecessor.
