Moto Razr 50 Ultra Launched in India: Pricing, Features, Specs
Motorola has launched its latest clamshell-style foldable smartphone, the Razr 50 Ultra, in the Indian market.
This new device brings several upgrades over its predecessor, including a larger cover display and an updated processor.

The Razr 50 Ultra is priced at Rs. 99,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.
It will be available in Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz colours. Sales begin during the Amazon Prime Day 2024 sale on July 20-21.
The phone can be purchased via Motorola.in and select retail stores.
Early buyers can avail a Rs. 5,000 discount, reducing the price to Rs. 94,999. Additional offers include bank discounts and no-cost EMI options starting at Rs. 5,000 per month.

The Razr 50 Ultra features a 6.9-inch foldable pOLED inner display with a resolution of 1,080×2,640 pixels.
It supports a 165Hz refresh rate and has a pixel density of 413ppi.
The outer cover display is a 4-inch pOLED panel with a 1,080×1,272 pixel resolution, also supporting a 165Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.
The device sports a dual camera setup on the outer shell, comprising a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
For selfies, there’s a 32MP camera on the inner display.
Motorola has included various AI-powered shooting modes, including action engine, auto smile capture, and gesture capture.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, the Razr 50 Ultra runs on Android 14.
It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring smooth performance for multitasking and app launches.
The device houses a 4,000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging.
Motorola includes a 68W charger in the box, allowing for quick top-ups when needed.

One of the most notable upgrades on the Razr 50 Ultra is the switch to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which delivers better overall performance and efficiency.
Additionally, the display has seen enhancements with a brighter, 6.8-inch OLED screen boasting a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a more vibrant and smoother visual experience.
The camera system has also been upgraded, featuring a 50MP main sensor and an optical zoom lens, compared to the previous model’s digital-only zoom capabilities.
Another key improvement is in the battery department, with the Razr 50 Ultra featuring a larger 4000mAh battery and faster 45W wired charging, compared to the Razr 40 Ultra’s 3800mAh battery and 30W charging.
The new model also introduces enhanced software, launching with Android 14 and Motorola’s latest HelloUX, offering better customization options and an always-on cover display.
