Motorola is expanding its Moto G series portfolio, with the anticipated launch of the Moto G 5G (2024).
High-resolution renders have been revealed for the device which gives us a glimpse of what we can expect from this possible budget offering.
These 5K renders and a 360-degree video has been presented by MySmartPrice in collaboration with OnLeaks.
The Moto G 5G (2024) retains the characteristic slab-like design of its predecessor, blending flat sides with curved edges for better ergonomics.
The device has a flat display panel with minimal bezels on three sides, complemented by a reasonably thick chin, as can be expected from budget phones.
Central to its design is a 6.5-inch display, featuring a centre-mounted punch-hole cutout for the front camera.
This screen size again mirrors that of the previous model, suggesting continuity in display specifications.
The renders show the Moto G 5G (2024) featuring a dual-camera setup with a more integrated camera island as compared to the last time around.
Where the 2023 model had a rectangular camera module with rounded corners, the 2024 version opts for a seamless blend into the back panel, giving it a more modern appeal.
This new model also places the power and volume buttons conveniently on the right edge, with the SIM tray on the opposite side.
The renders show the bottom edge houses a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille, with an additional mic positioned on the top.
According to OnLeaks, the Moto G 5G (2024) will have dimensions of 164.4 x 74.9 x 8.2mm, promising a comfortable hand feel and easy usability.
In more recent new, Motorola has introduced a new colour option, ‘Peach Fuzz,’ for the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and the Moto Edge 40 Neo.
This unique hue, officially designated as PANTONE 13-1023, has been selected as the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2024.
Ruben Castano, Head of Customer Experience and Design at Motorola, emphasized the significance of colour in technology, particularly for enhancing personal expression and facilitating meaningful interactions.
Described as having a “cozy and tender essence,” this colour choice by Motorola is intended to resonate with themes of community and collaboration, adding a touch of warmth and personality to their latest devices.

It has a 6.5-inch display with minimal bezels and a center-mounted punch-hole for the front camera. The dual-camera setup on the back is more seamlessly integrated into the device compared to its predecessor.
