Vivo X Fold 6 Specifications and Features
The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch inner display and a 6.51-inch cover display. The inner screen uses Samsung’s M14 phosphor, while the cover screen uses BOE’s Q11 phosphor.
Both displays use 8T-LTPO technology with an adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate. They also support adaptive dimming and up to 5,000 nits local peak brightness. The minimum brightness can go as low as 1 nit, which is designed to make the displays more comfortable for late-night viewing.
The displays are part of Vivo’s ZEISS Master Color Display system and are designed to offer higher light output, lower power consumption, improved motion sharpness and longer lifespan.
The Vivo X Fold 6 is powered by the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, jointly developed by Vivo and MediaTek for the foldable smartphone. It works with the Ultra-Efficient Concurrent Engine, which helps manage graphics workloads and improve energy efficiency during heavy multitasking. The phone runs OriginOS 7 Fold, which uses the Origin Smooth Engine to combine computing, storage and rendering capabilities for a smoother experience when multiple applications are running.
The Origin Workbench enables multitasking on the large foldable display. Its Multi-Split Screen feature allows up to four apps to run simultaneously in a customisable tiled layout. The AI Cross-App Drag feature lets users move content directly between applications.
The Vivo Office Kit is designed for cross-device collaboration. When connected to a compatible monitor or TV, Desktop Mode can turn the phone into a desktop-like workspace for documents, presentations and communication.
The X Fold6 also includes Security Shield protection for system applications, cross-device communication, networks and sensitive user data. It continuously checks for risky app installations, insecure network connections and unauthorised permission requests.
The Vivo X Fold 6 packs a 6,900mAh BlueVolt battery, which is notable for a foldable smartphone with a slim design. It supports 80W wired FlashCharge, 40W wireless FlashCharge and wireless reverse charging.
The foldable features a 200MP ZEISS main camera with a Samsung HPB large sensor jointly developed by Vivo and Samsung. It also gets ZEISS T* coating and optical image stabilisation with CIPA 4.5 Professional Stabilisation.
The main camera is joined by a ZEISS APO telephoto camera, which is the first ZEISS APO-certified telephoto camera on a foldable smartphone. It uses the Sony LYTIA 602 large sensor with Vivo’s VCS technology. The camera has a 3x periscope design, a 70mm equivalent focal length, tele-macro capability and up to 100x ZEISS HyperZoom. A 50MP ZEISS ultra-wide-angle camera completes the rear camera setup. Image processing is handled by the Vivo Imaging Chip V3+, which is designed to improve sharpness, reduce image noise and improve energy efficiency.
One of the key camera features is support for the Vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2.
