Made-in-India iPhone 13 will soon be a reality as Apple starts production in Chennai

After manufacturing the iPhone SE in India in 2017, US-based tech giant Apple started manufacturing of iPhone 13 in India. The flagship product is being made at Foxconn’s facility, near Chennai. Foxconn is the contract manufacturing partner of Apple. The local manufacturing of the iPhone 13 is in direct response to the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme launched by the Indian government.

Apple is excited to start the production of the iPhone 13 —known for its beautiful design, advanced camera systems, and incredible performance of the A15 Bionic chip.

Other than iPhone SE, Apple currently manufactures iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. iPhone 13 is the latest to join the bandwagon.

Equipped with A15 Bionic chip, the flagship iPhone 13 offers a lightning-fast chip that speeds up everything you do. The phone is available at the initial price of Rs 69900.

Its ceramic shield is tougher than any smartphone glass. It offers a durable flat-edge design

The iPhone 13 was made available to Indian customers simultaneously with the US, among other markets – a first for the country.
