Logitech claims that the Wave Keys Keyboard is specifically designed for people looking for a more comfortable typing experience.
Once we opened the packaging box for this review, its soothing and ergonomic design was the first thing that caught our attention.
We received the White Colour variant for this review and it looks classy.
The cushioned palm rest and compact yet comfortably spaced keys instantly make the whole keyboard design philosophy stand out.
As the name suggests, the Wave Keys Keyboard has a wavy body.
Logitech has paid special attention to constructing a keyboard that will help in shielding users from Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS).
If you are someone who uses the keyboard more than usual for long hours, this Logitech model would be the perfect investment.
It also has a stand to tilt the keyboard for better grip while typing.
To say the least, we are thoroughly impressed with the design.
The build quality is also impressive.
We tried performing the keyboard bend test and this Wave Keys barely bends even after putting force.
Sustainability Initiatives Taken by Logitech in Designing:
There are two primary methods you can connect the Wave Keys keyboard to your computer – a) via the Logitech Bolt USB Receiver (bundled inside the box) and b) via Bluetooth.
Bluetooth compatibility:
Logi Bolt USB Receiver compatibility:
Irrespective of which method you choose for pairing, the keyboard can be connected to three computers at once.
The Bluetooth connectivity has a 10-m wireless range, which is more than enough for comfortably using a keyboard.
You can also install the Logi Options Plus software on your computer to utilize many keyboard customisation features available.
The software can also be used to easily switch between multiple paired devices and use the settings menu for more features.
As soon as we got our hands on the Logitech Wave Keys Keyboard for a comprehensive review, we had to perform a typing test even though we were already impressed with the design.
The keyboard has all membrane key switches, which makes clicks feel extremely light and soft.
During our typing test, we found no major issues with the form or functionality.
The click key sound was barely audible unless you use it late at night when surroundings are relatively quieter.
So, you don’t have to worry about disturbing others while using this keyboard.
One thing we have to highlight here is the wave design of the keyboard body.
While typing you will feel a slight bump in the middle of the keyboard, something that is not usual.
This is good for the wrist in the long run and caters to a lot of posture issues computer users usually face.
While this design might not feel comfortable at first, users will get used to it eventually.
The Logitech Wave Keys Keyboard comes with a back compartment to house 2 AAA batteries.
As for the brand’s claim, these batteries can support 36 months of battery life.
The verdict in simple words is – We approve!
If you are a regular computer user and your work demands long hours on the keyboard, this Logitech product is aptly designed for you.
It can help prevent some major health issues that people who use the keyboard for long hours often face such as Carpal tunnel syndrome.
It also promises to help users with their incorrect posture and improve their overall typing experience.
We do wish there was the Backlight feature though.
Overall, at ₹6,495, this one is an extremely reasonably priced keyboard that is designed to make your entire typing experience more healthy and comfortable.
