According to the latest updates, Lava seems to be preparing to expand its smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of a new Curve series device. An upcoming smartphone named Lava Aura Curve 5G has now popped up online through IMEI database listings. This hints that its official launch could take place soon. Here’s more on that.

According to details shared in an exclusive PassionateGeekz report, Lava Aura Curve 5G has been spotted on the IMEI database carrying the model number “LXX529” further confirming its existence.
Lava also appears set to continue its focus on curved display smartphones with this new addition to the Curve lineup. While the database listing does not reveal any hardware details although it has already appeared on Geekbench giving an early look at some of its specifications.

As per the benchmark listing, the Lava Aura Curve 5G is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset. The listing also reveals 4GB RAM and Android 16 operating system support out of the box.
These early specifications indicate that Lava may be preparing a more performance-focused smartphone while still maintaining its value-oriented pricing strategy for Indian consumers.
Lava has recently introduced the Shark 5G and the new Bold series smartphones in India. Both these devices target the affordable smartphone market under the ₹15,000 segment. With Lava Aura Curve 5G, the company is now aiming to enter the more premium ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 smartphone category.
Lava has not officially confirmed the launch date or complete specifications yet. Early certifications and benchmark appearances suggest that more details about the smartphone could emerge in the coming weeks.
