The upcoming iQOO 15T has surfaced once again through a fresh round of leaks ahead of its expected launch in China later this month. New information shared by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has now reconfirmed several key specifications of the smartphone. We know have an idea on what to expect in terms of its display, battery, cameras, charging support, and storage variants. Here’s more on that.
According to the latest leak, iQOO 15T will feature a large 6.83-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. On the front, the device may include a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
For photography, the rear panel is expected to house a dual-camera setup consisting of a 200-megapixel primary sensor along with a 50-megapixel secondary camera.
Performance-wise, the iQOO 15T is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The phone is also tipped to pack a massive 8000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
The latest leak further reveals that the smartphone could launch in five storage and RAM configurations. These may include 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, and a top-end 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant.
Leak further suggest the smartphone has already cleared the required certifications for launch in China and suggested that its official debut may not be far away.
The leak also mentions that the iQOO 15T may arrive in three different editions including Qingyun Edition, Legend Edition and Track Edition.
Based on previous iQOO launches, the Legend Edition is expected to feature BMW W Motorsport branding with a white rear panel design. Meanwhile, the Track Edition could adopt a darker racing-inspired finish aimed at gaming and performance enthusiasts.
Other tipped features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, and full-level water resistance.
Earlier reports had also suggested that the iQOO 15T may support 8K video recording, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings along with an X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback. However, iQOO has not officially confirmed the complete specifications yet.
Meanwhile, a leaked image of a new iQOO smartphone has also surfaced on Weibo. Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the device shown in the image is the upcoming iQOO 15T.
The leaked render reveals a camera module design similar to the iQOO 15 Ultra. The phone appears to feature a dual rear camera setup alongside an LED flash module. The leaked device is shown in a light blue colour finish.
Meanwhile, iQOO has already started pre-orders for the iQOO 15T in China from May 7. The smartphone is being listed alongside the upcoming iQOO Pad 6 Pro tablet and iQOO TWS 5i earbuds. Official teasers released so far have mainly focused on the phone’s slim design and rear camera module.
