A Realme smartphone has surfaced online with a 10,001mAh battery.
The device runs Realme UI 7.0, packs 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and is certified for Hi‑Res Audio.
It has been certified by Europe’s EEC and is likely nearing launch, although there have been no official announcements yet.
Realme phone appears online with a 10,000mAh battery.
Realme was the first smartphone brand to openly tease the concept of a phone with a massive 10,000mAh battery. A Russian tech blog has now published an image of an upcoming Realme smartphone that reportedly houses a 10,001mAh battery.
The device is said to carry the model number RMX5107 and has also been certified for Hi-Res Audio, indicating a focus on enhanced sound quality alongside battery life.
The leaked image reveals that the smartphone runs Realme UI 7.0 and features 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage. While this configuration is visible in the current leak, it may not be the only variant Realme plans to launch. As of now, no other memory or storage options have been officially confirmed.
To put this into perspective, Realme’s largest batteries available in the market currently max out at 7,000mAh. Devices such as the Realme 15T 5G and the Realme Narzo 90 sit at the top of the company’s battery offerings. A jump to a 10,000mAh battery would mark a major leap, not only for Realme but also for mainstream smartphone design as a whole.
Additionally, the smartphone has received certification from Europe’s EEC authority. This approval suggests that the device has cleared key regulatory steps and is likely gearing up for an official announcement in the near future.
Meanwhile, Realme isn’t the only brand playing with the idea of a 10,000mAh battery. Honor has already launched the Honor Win lineup ahead of Realme with similar battery specs.
The Honor Win and Honor Win RT have already made headlines as the world’s first commercially available smartphones equipped with a 10,000mAh battery. That said, fresh developments suggest Realme is not too far behind in this battery race.

Durability tests by YouTubers revealed weaknesses in Galaxy Z TriFold with hinge damage, display tearing and sensitivity to dust during stress tests.
Fold count endurance showed resilience with over 150,000 folds before hinge wear.
The phone is expected to launch in early 2026 and faces durability concerns compared to Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Samsung’s newly revealed Galaxy Z TriFold has drawn significant attention. The hands-on durability tests from popular YouTube creators suggest that the tri-folding smartphone may not live up to Samsung’s expectations. Here’s a roundup of everything we know thanks to recently released durability tests online.
Galaxy Z TriFold Struggles Under Extreme Stress Tests
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold faces JerryRigEverything’s durability tests. (Still from JerryRigEverything on YouTube)
In a detailed durability video by famous YouTuber JerryRigEverything, the Galaxy Z TriFold was subjected to standard stress tests including scratch resistance, heat exposure, dust intrusion, and bending. The scratch and burn tests delivered familiar results with foldable glass once again proving relatively soft.
However, the dust and bend tests exposed the device’s vulnerabilities. The Galaxy Z TriFold appeared to be particularly sensitive to dirt particles. Even though the sand used in the test was not microscopic, audible grinding noises were heard from the hinges when the phone was fully unfolded and folded again. This indicates that debris can easily interfere with the hinge mechanism.
The bend test proved to be the most damaging. Unlike other recent Galaxy foldables, the Galaxy Z TriFold failed after a relatively moderate amount of force was applied in the wrong direction. During the test, parts of the display began to tear, pixels went dark, and the lower section of the right hinge snapped.
While the device may not be completely beyond repair, replacing the damaged display would likely be extremely expensive.
You can check out the complete video below –
By comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 reportedly survived a similar bend test with significantly less damage, giving it a clear durability advantage.
Fold Count Tests Paint a More Balanced Picture
Durability concerns around the Galaxy Z TriFold surfaced even before its official availability with earlier tests focusing on hinge longevity. Those tests suggested the device could handle over 150,000 folding cycles without visible defects.
Samsung itself claims the Galaxy Z TriFold is rated for up to 200,000 folds, a figure that may still be achievable under normal usage conditions.
Samsung has not made any specific claims about resistance to outward pressure applied opposite to the intended folding direction. In such scenarios, the TriFold reportedly collapses inward incorrectly. On the positive side, the battery did not puncture during testing.
However, JerryRigEverything also highlighted a new pull-tab battery removal system, raising concerns that the ultra-thin batteries could bend dangerously if removed improperly.
Extended Torture Test Reveals Hinge Wear Over Time

Another durability test was conducted by South Korea–based YouTube channel “OMG_electronics,” which livestreamed an extended folding endurance test. Over several days, multiple hosts repeatedly folded and unfolded the Galaxy Z TriFold until noticeable issues emerged.
The test revealed minor creaking noises from the first hinge after around 61,000 folds with similar sounds appearing in the second hinge at roughly 121,000 folds. At approximately 144,000 folds, what the hosts described as “hinge elasticity” began to fail. At that point, the phone no longer stayed fully open without manual pressure and became slightly more difficult to open and close.
While the device was not technically “broken,” the compromised hinge behavior would likely affect everyday usability and justify a repair. Notably, the display continued functioning even after these issues appeared, making the failure less catastrophic than it initially sounded.
Considering the test ran continuously for nearly eight days, the Galaxy Z TriFold still demonstrated respectable endurance. Under typical real-world usage, it would likely approach Samsung’s claimed 200,000-fold lifespan.
Check out the full video below –
Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Z TriFold sometime in early 2026.

Google is preparing a feature to let users change their Gmail address without creating a new account or losing data.
The old Gmail ID will remain active as an alias, ensuring emails still arrive and sign-ins work with both old and new addresses.
Restrictions like one change per 12 months or max three changes per account may apply.
(Photo by Solen Feyissa on Unsplash)
Changing your Gmail address could soon become much easier. If you no longer like your Gmail ID, Google may finally have a solution. A new report suggests that Google is preparing a feature that will allow users to modify their Gmail address without creating a new account or losing any existing data. Here’s what we know so far.
Gmail Address Change – What’s New?
Currently, Google only permits email address changes for accounts that use third-party email IDs. If your accountends with “@gmail.com,” there has been no way to change it without opening an entirely new Google account.
That limitation may soon be lifted. As per Google’s updated documentation, users will be able to change the username part before “@gmail.com” while keeping the same Google Account. The core account remains unchanged with only the visible Gmail address being updated.
According to 9to5Google, the upcoming option was spotted on Google’s official support pages. This means the feature is likely in the final stages of development and may roll out gradually to users.
Interestingly, report suggest when you switch to a new Gmail address, your old one will not be deleted. Instead, it will continue to function as an alias. This means emails sent to your previous address will still arrive in your inbox, and the old Gmail ID cannot be claimed by someone else. Users will also be able to sign in using either the old or the new Gmail address.
This means all existing data stays intact. This includes emails, contacts, Google Drive files, Photos, YouTube subscriptions, purchases, and access to apps and services linked to the account.
To prevent misuse, Google is expected to introduce certain restrictions. Users may be allowed to change their Gmail address only once every 12 months with a maximum of three changes per account.
Google also cautions that changing your Gmail address may feel similar to signing in on a new device. Some services such as Chromebooks, Google Remote Desktop, or specific app logins, could require additional setup after the change.
Availability
The option is likely to be available primarily for personal Gmail accounts. Accounts managed by workplaces, schools, or organisations may either require administrator approval or may not support the feature at all.
Google has not yet announced an official rollout date. However, the updated support pages suggest a phased release.
FAQs
Q1. Can users change their Gmail address without losing data?
Answer. Yes. Google is preparing a feature that will let users modify their Gmail ID while keeping the same account, ensuring all emails, contacts, files, and subscriptions remain intact.
Q2. What happens to the old Gmail address after the change?
Answer. The old Gmail ID will remain active as an alias. Emails sent to it will still arrive in the inbox, and users can sign in using either the old or new address.
Q3. Are there any restrictions on changing Gmail addresses?
Answer. Yes. Users may only change their Gmail address once every 12 months, with a maximum of three changes per account, and the rollout will be gradual.

WhatsApp status updates could soon get Meta AI-powered editing tools directly within the status editor. A new report from WABetaInfo reveals that WhatsApp is working on an upgraded editing experience that allows users to enhance and transform photos without relying on third-party apps. Here’s what we know about the feature so far.
WhatsApp Status Editor – What’s New?
According to WABetaInfo, select beta users on iOS can now access a revamped image editing interface while creating photo-based status updates. Alongside existing filters and basic tools, WhatsApp is introducing AI-powered editing options driven by Meta AI.
Meta is testing AI-powered editing tools within Status Editor. (Screenshot by WABetaInfo)
The feature was initially spotted in Android beta builds and has now appeared in iOS beta versions distributed through TestFlight. This suggests that WhatsApp is aiming to deliver a unified AI-based editing experience across both platforms.
Users can apply AI-generated styles, transform images, and rework photos using text prompts, all without leaving the app. This streamlines the process of creating visually appealing status updates directly within WhatsApp.
The updated editor reportedly offers several AI-generated visual styles including 3D, Comic Book, Anime, Painting, Kawaii, Clay, Felt, Classical, and Video Game themes. Rather than acting as simple filters, these styles recreate the image using AI to match the selected look.
One notable addition is the Redo option. If users are unhappy with the initial result, they can regenerate the same style to produce a different version without restarting the editing process. WABetaInfo also points out that the range of styles on iOS appears slightly different from those currently being tested on Android, indicating that WhatsApp is still fine-tuning the feature.
More Than Just Visual Styles
Beyond stylised effects, the Meta AI tools can reportedly add or remove objects, clean up unwanted elements, and make targeted adjustments while preserving the overall background consistency. Users can also describe a specific scene or mood using text prompts, allowing the AI to reshape the image accordingly.
Another upcoming feature is image animation. With this, static photos can be converted into short animated visuals, adding subtle motion to status updates and making them more engaging.
Availability and Rollout
As per WABetaInfo, the Meta AI-powered status editing tools are currently accessible to a limited number of beta testers using WhatsApp beta for iOS via TestFlight. Interestingly, some users on the stable App Store version may also see the feature.
The rollout is expected to be gradual, which means it could take some time before the feature becomes widely available to all WhatsApp users.

Apple’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone has now surfaced through leaked renders and a 3D-printed mockup, offering a closer look at its possible design. A recent YouTube video analysing CAD-based renders indicates that the book-style foldable may feature a wide display layout, while standing out with a significantly reduced screen crease.
iPhone Fold Design Hint
According to a video shared by FrontPageTech (FPT) on YouTube, the leaked CAD renders point to an iPhone Fold with a large internal display paired with a smaller outer screen. The overall proportions closely resemble those of the Google Pixel Fold.

Adding to this, tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the main visual difference between the alleged iPhone Fold and the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Wide Fold will be the R-angle. While Samsung’s device is said to have a squarer design, Apple’s foldable could feature more rounded corners.
The FPT video suggests that the iPhone Fold may come with a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch inner screen. By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Wide Fold is expected to feature a 5.35-inch inner display and a 7.58-inch outer panel, making the two devices similar in size.
In terms of thickness, Apple’s foldable is tipped to measure around 9mm when folded and 4.5mm when unfolded. This puts it close to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is said to measure 8.9mm folded and 4.2mm unfolded. These dimensions would make the iPhone Fold noticeably slimmer than the Google Pixel Fold, which reportedly measures 12.1mm when folded and 5.8mm when unfolded.
Another highlight of the leaked renders is the minimal crease around the hinge area. Unlike many foldable smartphones currently available, the iPhone Fold is said to feature a flatter inner display with a much less visible crease.
Jon Prosser of FrontPageTech claims that Apple could achieve this by using a mix of a pressure-dispersing metal plate, liquid metal within the hinge, and an in-cell touch panel. This combination is reportedly aimed at reducing visible crease lines while maintaining accurate touch responsiveness.
3D-Printed iPhone Fold Mockup Surfaces
Alongside the leaked renders, a 3D-printed mockup of the iPhone Fold has also appeared online. MakerWorld user Subsy has shared files for a printable model, claiming it is based on leaked CAD drawings.

However, there is no confirmation that any authentic Apple CAD files have surfaced, making it likely that the drawings used are unofficial or speculative.
Despite this, the model aligns with earlier reports and may appeal to enthusiasts who own a 3D printer and are curious about Apple’s foldable concept. Subsy has released both single-colour and AMS versions of the model, noting that PLA material prints cleanly, while PETG could also work, though it hasn’t been tested.
The creator clarified that the folding mechanism is intentionally simple, designed only to demonstrate open and closed positions rather than replicate Apple’s actual hinge technology. One user who printed the model pointed out that it can fold beyond 180 degrees, something that would not be possible on a real foldable smartphone.
iPhone Fold – Expected Specifications
As per current rumours, the iPhone Fold could feature dual rear cameras along with dual selfie cameras. The device is also tipped to be powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chipset, reportedly built on a 2nm manufacturing process, and paired with the company’s in-house C2 modem. For biometric authentication, the foldable iPhone is expected to rely on Touch ID, which could be integrated into the power button.
Apple has yet to confirm any details. However, the growing number of leaks and concept models suggests that the iPhone Fold is steadily taking shape behind the scenes.
