REDMAGIC has confirmed that the Red Magic 10 Air will launch in China on April 16 as part of its REDMAGIC 10 series. But ahead of the big day, the phone has already been listed on China’s TENAA certification site, revealing all its major specs. On top of that, REDMAGIC has also shared official images, showing off the phone’s design and colour options. So, let’s take a closer look at everything we know about the device so far.

The Red Magic 10 Air will come in three colour variants including Frost Blade White, Shadow Black, and Flame Orange. It has a full-screen display, made possible by an under-display selfie camera, and features gaming trigger buttons on the sides, which is perfect for mobile gamers.

Interestingly, REDMAGIC has gone for a centrifugal cooling fan this time, which could help make the device thinner while still keeping it cool during heavy gaming.

Red Magic 10 Air – Leaked Specs via TENAA

According to the TENAA listing, the Red Magic 10 Air will measure 164.3 x 76.6 x 7.85mm and weigh 205 grams. It will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2480 x 1116 pixels) and include an in-display fingerprint sensor.

With launch day just around the corner, it won’t be long before we get the full official details.

Google Pixel 10 Series Price Leaks, Pixel 10 Pro Fold Expected To Be More Affordable

0

Highlights

  • Google plans to lower the Pixel Fold’s price to $1,500 by 2027.
  • The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is expected to be launching at around $1,600 in 2028.
  • The Pixel a-series will stay at $499, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL will see a $100 price increase to $1,200.

image

There’s been some speculation that Google might drop the smaller “Pro” Pixel if sales aren’t strong, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. According to Android Headlines, which cites a source familiar with Google’s plans, the smaller Pixel Pro will stay in the lineup all the way through the Pixel 13 in 2028.

Google’s Pixel lineup is expected to stay consistent for the next few years, including the Pixel a-series, a base model, two Pro models and a foldable. This strategy will reportedly continue through at least 2028.

Pixel Fold to Drop in Price?

In a surprising move, the Pixel Fold is expected to get cheaper over time. While other foldable phones are getting more expensive, Google seems to be doing the opposite. The Pixel Fold is expected to drop to around $1,500 in 2027, and by 2028, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could launch at about $1,600.

Just like in 2024 with the Pixel 9 series, the Pixel Fold is likely to launch alongside the flagship Pixel phones each August. That means we can expect four Pixel devices launching together every August, while the Pixel a-series will continue to arrive in the spring, just like it has since the Pixel 3a launched back in 2019.

The report also says the Pixel a-series will stay priced at $499 through the Pixel 12a in 2028. That’s good news, especially since the original Pixel 3a launched at $399. It helps keep the a-series clearly separated from the base Pixel models in terms of pricing, avoiding the overlap we’ve seen with phones like the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9a, which are very similar except for the price.

Lastly, the Pixel 10 Pro XL (not the regular Pro) is expected to get a $100 price bump, bringing it to $1,200. This move would create a more noticeable gap between the base model, the Pro, the XL and the Fold, giving each model a more distinct spot in the lineup.

FAQs

Q1. Will Google discontinue the smaller Pro Pixel model?

Answer. No, the smaller Pro Pixel model will remain part of the Pixel lineup through 2028, as confirmed by a source familiar with Google’s plans.

Q2. What is the expected pricing for the Pixel Fold in the coming years?

Answer. The Pixel Fold’s price is expected to drop to $1,500 by 2027, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is anticipated to launch at around $1,600 in 2028.

Q3. Will there be pricing changes for the Pixel lineup?

Answer. Yes, the Pixel a-series will stay priced at $499 through 2028, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL will see a $100 price increase, bringing its price to $1,200.

iPhone 17 Pro Models to Get Exclusive Dual-Camera Video Recording Feature

0

Highlights

  • The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will introduce a new Camera app feature.
  • It will allow simultaneous video recording from the front and rear cameras, which is ideal for creators.
  • The feature will be exclusive to the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.

There’s been a lot of talk about how Apple plans to boost the camera system on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. Only to add on to all the speculations and rumours, a new leak from Jon Prosser reveals a new exclusive Camera app feature is on the way for this year’s Pro models. Here’s what we know.

Record With Both Cameras at Once on iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max

In a recent YouTube video, Jon Prosser shared a preview of what iOS 19 might look like. But at the very end, he dropped a surprise hint of what’s coming in this next iPhone Pro lineup.

According to Prosser, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will get a new Camera app feature that lets you record video from both the front and rear cameras at the same time. The feature works kind of like a FaceTime layout where the main screen shows the rear camera view while a smaller window displays the front camera feed.

image

Caption – Jon Prosser’s Front Page Tech. (Image credit – FPT)

While third-party apps have allowed this kind of recording for a while, this will be the first time Apple adds it directly into the built-in Camera app. It’s especially useful for YouTubers, vloggers and content creators who want to capture both perspectives at once.

But there’s a catch!

This feature will only be available on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. That’s a bit of a letdown, considering third-party apps already offer it on older iPhones too.

It’s possible the feature relies on the new A19 Pro chip, which is expected to be exclusive to the Pro models. Or maybe Apple has added some extra touches that third-party apps haven’t managed yet. Then again, Apple might just be doing what it often does, giving Pro users a few more reasons to upgrade.

Check out Jon Prosser’s full video below –

FAQs

Q1. What is the new Camera app feature on the iPhone 17 Pro models?

Answer. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will allow simultaneous video recording from the front and rear cameras within the built-in Camera app, a first for Apple.

Q2. Why is  the dual-camera recording feature exclusive to iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max?

Answer. The feature likely relies on the new A19 Pro chip, which is exclusive to the Pro models. Apple might also use this as a way to incentivize upgrades.

Q3. Are third-party apps already offering dual-camera recording functionality for iPhones?

Answer. Yes, third-party apps have provided dual-camera video recording on older iPhones, but Apple is integrating the feature directly into its Camera app for the first time.

Instagram Is Finally Making an iPad App After 15 Years: Report

0

Highlights

  • Instagram is finally working on a dedicated app for iPads.
  • A dedicated app will help improve the currently poor user experience of the iPhone version on larger screens.
  • Meta’s efforts are also aimed at boosting Instagram’s growth amidst uncertainty surrounding TikTok.

image

Instagram has been around for a while, but it is surprising that we still don’t have a dedicated Instagram app for iPad. However, it looks like Meta is changing that. According to a new report from The Information, Instagram is finally developing a dedicated iPad app.

The report says, “Instagram is also working on a version of the Instagram app designed for iPads, the current employee said, which could further drive usage of Instagram. Currently, iPad users can download a version of the Instagram app designed for iPhones, which appears zoomed-in on iPads—not a good experience!”

As of now, iPad users are stuck using the iPhone version of the app, which doesn’t fit well on the larger screen and looks blown up and clunky. A proper iPad version would finally make the experience smoother and more enjoyable.

The report also mentions that Meta is exploring different ways to boost Instagram’s growth, especially with all the uncertainty surrounding TikTok.

Over the years, Instagram has given several reasons for not making an iPad app. Back in 2021, Instagram head Adam Mosseri admitted that an iPad app “would be nice to do,” but explained it wasn’t a top priority because “there’s a lot to do and only so many people.”

Addressing the subject a year later, Mosseri added, “It’s still just not a big enough group of people to be a priority. Hoping to get to it at some point, but right now we’re very heads down on other things. I call these ‘finally features.’ Things like supporting dark mode, scheduled posts, an iPad app, deleting one photo from a carousel, etc.”

At the moment, there’s no clear timeline for when the iPad app will actually launch and there’s always the chance it might get dropped altogether. Still, the fact that it’s finally in the works is big news for iPad users, even if many feel it should’ve happened long ago.

FAQs

Q1. Is Instagram making a dedicated iPad app?

Answer. Yes, Instagram is finally developing a dedicated app for iPads to enhance the currently poor user experience caused by the zoomed-in iPhone version.

Q2. Why hasn’t Instagram had an iPad app before?

Answer. Instagram previously deprioritized an iPad app due to resource constraints and a smaller user base, focusing instead on features like dark mode and scheduled posts.

Q3. When will the Instagram iPad app launch?

Answer. There is no clear timeline for the launch of the iPad app, and there is always the possibility that it might be delayed or dropped altogether.

iPhone 16 Series Could Get 30% Pricier Due to New US Tariffs, Says Analyst

0

Highlights

  • The iPhone 16 series could see a price hike of up to 30% in the US due to new tariffs.
  • Apple faces uncertainty in managing tariff costs, limited production diversification outside China and significant potential cost increases globally.
  • Apple’s shares dropped by 20% amid concerns about demand.
  • Analysts warn of increased iPhone prices and reduced earnings per share.

image

Caption – Apple iPhone could get pricier this year as a result of the new tariff policy change. (Image credit – Apple)

The iPhone 16 series might see a big price hike, and it’s all because of fresh US tariffs announced recently by President Donald Trump. According to UBS analyst Sundeep Gantori, the top-end iPhone 16 Pro Max could get up to 30% more expensive in the US.

That’s because Apple still depends heavily on its manufacturing facilities in China, and the new tariffs directly target products made there. Gantori estimates that the iPhone 16 Pro Max could see a price jump of around $350 (roughly ₹30,000), taking its starting price to nearly $1,550 (about ₹1,33,000) in the US.

For comparison, the current model starts at $1,199 (around ₹1,03,000) and sells for ₹1,44,900 in India.

Even with the price hike, the phone would still be cheaper in the US than in India, but nothing’s official yet. These are just early predictions based on analysis by UBS.

Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 16 Pro might get a smaller increase of about $120, especially if Apple manages to shift more of its production to India, according to CNBC.

Apple’s Uncertain Supply Chain

In a note shared by UBS, Gantori pointed out that Apple’s supply chain is still figuring things out. He said, “Based on the checks we have done at a company level, there is a lot of uncertainty about how the increased cost sharing will be done with suppliers, the extent to which costs can be passed on to end-customers, and the duration of tariffs.”

As of now, the timing of the tariff announcement has already shaken things up. Apple’s shares have reportedly dropped by around 20% in just three trading days, wiping out nearly $640 billion in market value. Analysts say this drop shows growing concern that higher iPhone prices could hurt demand, especially with consumer spending already under pressure.

Apple is among the companies most affected by this trade policy change. China is now facing a 54% import tariff on electronics. Even though Apple has tried to diversify production to countries like India, Vietnam, and Thailand, those places are also facing some new tariffs.

Earlier, JPMorgan predicted that iPhone prices could rise by 6% globally if these aggressive tariffs go ahead. Barclays’ Tim Long also warned that Apple might have no choice but to raise prices or else face a potential 15% drop in earnings per share.

In a worst-case scenario, Wedbush analysts said that if Apple moved all iPhone production to the US, a single device could cost as much as $3,500, mainly due to high local manufacturing costs and a lack of proper infrastructure.

Morgan Stanley added that Apple could face up to $34 billion in extra costs every year under the new tariff plan. Even with all the recent moves to diversify production, most of Apple’s manufacturing still happens outside the US, and now, nearly all of that is subject to tariffs.

FAQs

Q1. Why might the iPhone 16 series experience a price hike in the US?

Answer. The price hike is attributed to new tariffs targeting products made in China, where Apple heavily relies on manufacturing facilities.

Q2. How much could the iPhone 16 Pro Max cost due to these tariffs?

Answer. The iPhone 16 Pro Max could see a price increase of up to $350, raising its starting price to approximately $1,550 in the US.

Q3. What challenges is Apple facing due to the tariffs?

Answer. Apple’s supply chain struggles to handle increased cost-sharing with suppliers, diversify production outside China, and manage potential $34 billion annual tariff costs.

It is common knowledge by now that Apple is gearing up to launch its next-generation iPhones this September. The series reportedly will include four models likely to be named the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. While there is no official confirmation about the next iPhone 17 Series, here’s a quick recap of all we know for now.

iPhone 17 Series – Launch Date (Expected)

Apple usually unveils its new iPhones in September, and the iPhone 17 Series is expected to follow the same timeline. Reports suggest Apple’s annual fall event might be held between September 11 and 13, 2025. That’s when we’ll likely see the full iPhone 17 lineup including the regular, Air, Pro, and Pro Max models.

image

iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air – Design (Rumoured)

According to multiple sources, this year Apple will be releasing a new slim iPhone expected to be named iPhone 17 Air. The phone is likely to be around 2mm slimmer than the iPhone 16 Pro, making it one of the slimmest iPhones to date.

The brand might also introduce a fresh design at the back with a new horizontal camera bar. This new bar will likely stretch across the width of the phone for other iPhone models. If true, this would mean a different design compared to the pill-shaped dual-camera setup.

Phone 17 and iPhone 17 Air  – Display and Camera Specs (Leaked)

The standard iPhone 17 is rumored to come with a slightly larger 6.3-inch screen, while the iPhone 17 Air could feature a 6.6-inch display. What’s exciting is that both models are expected to support the 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, a feature that was previously only available on the Pro models.

Under the hood, the iPhone 17 and 17 Air are likely to be powered by Apple’s new A19 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM. Apple is also said to be working on a new vapor chamber cooling system, which should help keep the phones cool during heavy use like gaming or recording 4K videos.

When it comes to selfies, both phones are expected to get a solid upgrade, jumping from a 12MP to a 24MP front camera for clearer, more detailed shots. On the back, the iPhone 17 might stick with a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.

The iPhone 17 Air, on the other hand, could feature a single 48MP camera with 2x telephoto zoom support, offering a good balance of performance and simplicity.

iPhone 17 Pro – Design and Specs (Leaked)

The iPhone 17 Pro could introduce a fresh new look. Apple might move away from the titanium frame and go with a lighter aluminium and glass design. On the back, expect a redesigned rectangular camera bar with rounded corners, giving the phone a cleaner, more modern look.

As for the cameras:

  • Triple 48MP sensors on the rear, including a better telephoto lens for sharper zoom.
  • A major upgrade on the front too — from 12MP to 24MP for selfies with more detail and clarity.

The iPhone 17 Pro will likely be powered by Apple’s upcoming A19 Pro chip, along with 12GB of RAM for smoother multitasking and performance. Charging could also be faster, with leaks pointing to 35W fast charging support.

iPhone 17 Pro Price in India, USA and Dubai (Expected)

Thanks to rising global tariffs, especially those from former U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration, iPhone prices might shoot up this year. Some reports claim prices could go up by 30% to 40% if Apple passes on the added costs to buyers.

Here’s what the leaked pricing looks like for the iPhone 17 Pro:

  • India: Around ₹1,39,999
  • USA: Around $2,099
  • Dubai: Around AED 4,599

iPhone 17 –

  • India – Around Rs 79,900
  • USA – Around $799
  • Dubai – Around AED 3,399

iPhone 17 Air –

  • India – Around Rs 89,900
  • USA – Around $899
  • Dubai – Around AED 3,799

Some estimates even suggest the most premium model could touch $2,300 in the U.S.

Google is making its AI Mode even smarter by adding multimodal support, which means you can now ask questions using images. Whether you upload a photo or snap one with your camera, AI Mode can understand the picture and give you detailed, helpful answers.

This upgrade is now rolling out to millions more Labs users in the U.S., bringing the experience to a much wider audience.

Ask Questions with Images in AI Mode

Google calls this multimodal capability, and it builds on tech the company has used for years in visual search. Now, with AI Mode, you can do things like take a picture of a product, an object or even a scene and ask questions about it.

Here’s how Robby Stein, VP of Product at Google Search, explains it, “With AI Mode’s new multimodal understanding, you can snap a photo or upload an image, ask a question about it and get a rich, comprehensive response with links to dive deeper.”

Stein adds, “AI Mode builds on our years of work on visual search and takes it a step further. With Gemini’s multimodal capabilities, AI Mode can understand the entire scene in an image, including the context of how objects relate to one another and their unique materials, colors, shapes and arrangements.”

“Drawing on our deep visual search expertise, Lens precisely identifies each object in the image. Using our query fan-out technique, AI Mode then issues multiple queries about the image as a whole and the objects within the image, accessing more breadth and depth of information than a traditional search on Google. The result is a response that’s incredibly nuanced and contextually relevant, so you take the next step.”

Google recently expanded access to AI Mode, first to people without a Google One AI Premium subscription and then to another wave of users last week. Now, a third (possibly even fourth) batch of users in the U.S. is being invited as Google brings AI Mode to millions more lab participants.

This update shows where search is heading. Instead of just typing in text, you’ll soon be able to search by showing Google what you’re curious about. So, if you haven’t tried AI Mode yet, now’s a great time to explore it and keep an eye on how it might change the way traffic flows to websites in the future.
