Quick-commerce platform Blinkit, owned by Zomato, has expanded its offerings in the competitive 10-minute delivery space. CEO Albinder Dhindsa took to social media to announce that Blinkit now delivers electronics such as laptops, monitors and printers in just 10 minutes. The service is available in major metro cities across India.
“You can now get laptops, monitors, printers and more delivered in 10 minutes! We’re expanding our electronics range to cover more use cases and have partnered up with leading brands in this category,” Dhindsa wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).

The new offerings include laptops from HP, monitors from Lenovo, Zebronics and MSI, and printers from Canon and HP. These products will be delivered to customers in cities like Delhi NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Lucknow.
“Most of these will be delivered by our large order fleet. We’ll be adding a lot more brands and their products very soon,” Dhindsa added.
Competition in Quick Delivery
The announcement comes as competition in the quick-commerce sector heats up. On January 8, Blinkit’s parent company Zomato introduced a “15-minute delivery” tab within its app. This new feature offers a curated list of food options for rapid delivery.
Zomato and Blinkit’s recent moves follow Swiggy’s December launch of its 10-minute food delivery app Bolt, which is set to expand to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Bolt allows users to order food from popular restaurants and quick-service restaurants (QSRs) within 10 minutes. The service was initially rolled out in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune.
In December, Blinkit also introduced its food delivery app Bistro shortly after competitor Zepto launched its Zepto Cafe app. Both apps promise snacks, meals and beverages delivered in 10 minutes. However, these apps work with different approaches as Bistro leverages cloud kitchens, while Zepto Cafe focuses on opening physical restaurants.
With these aggressive expansions, the quick-commerce space is shaping up to be one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in India.

One of India’s top food and grocery delivery platforms Swiggy is introducing a dedicated app for its quick-commerce service Instamart. This new app is part of Swiggy’s strategy to create multiple apps that address specific customer needs. The standalone Instamart app will be rolled out in 76 cities across India.
According to the Economic Times report,Group CEO and co-founder of Swiggy Sriharsha Majety confirmed that while Instamart will still be available within the main Swiggy app, the standalone version is designed to offer users a more seamless and direct experience. The company is optimistic about Instamart’s potential predicting it could grow even bigger than its food delivery business.
In a statement, Swiggy MD and Group CEO Sriharsha Majety said, “While it’s been clear for a while now that Swiggy Instamart is set to match food delivery in size, recent developments show it’s on track to surpass food delivery in both penetration and scale. The positive reception in new cities and categories suggests Instamart could achieve far greater user adoption, going well beyond 100M+ users.”
This announcement comes shortly after Swiggy launched a 15-minute food delivery app named SNACC in Bengaluru. The company’s move mirrors strategies adopted by major Chinese platforms like Meituan and Alibaba, which have successfully balanced single-app functionality with standalone apps for specific services.
Majety also highlighted that the core Swiggy app would continue to benefit from features like its integrated membership program. However, the standalone Instamart app is expected to attract a significantly larger audience and expand Swiggy’s overall reach.
The new app is scheduled to launch in a few weeks, marking another step in Swiggy’s journey toward building a house of apps.
Amitesh Jha, CEO of Swiggy Instamart, commented on the growth trajectory: “Swiggy Instamart is on a rapid growth path, offering a compelling value proposition with 10-minute deliveries and an expanding range of nearly 50,000 products. The launch of the Instamart app ensures seamless adoption and access to the service in a category that we believe we have only scratched the surface of. Whether consumers access Instamart via Swiggy or the standalone app, all Swiggy One, One Lite, and One BLCK benefits will apply, ensuring that our ever-growing user base continues to enjoy the same great perks.”
Blinkit and Swiggy Brace for Competition from Amazon and Flipkart
India’s quick-commerce sector is only warming up as new players enter the market and intensifying competition among established giants. Blinkit and Swiggy, two of the biggest names in the space, are set to face stiff competition from American companies. Economic Times reports that Amazon and Walmart-owned Flipkart are gearing up for quick-commerce operations in 2025.
Amazon has started testing its quick-commerce service Tez in select areas of Bengaluru with its employees. This pilot program aims to deliver daily essentials quickly, using dark stores strategically located across the city and collaborating with third-party logistics providers. Confirming the pilot program, Amazon emphasised its focus on speed and innovation.
“We are always innovating to offer even more value to customers, and this limited pilot in select pin codes of Bengaluru is a trial to offer even faster speeds on a selection of everyday essentials from our sellers, that customers often need quickly,” a spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, Flipkart’s quick-commerce service, “Minutes,” is expanding rapidly. The platform is expected to operate around 150 dark stores this quarter and is diversifying its product range to include higher-value items like smartphones, laptops and medicines in specific areas of Bengaluru. A Jefferies report highlighted Flipkart’s competitive pricing and consistent availability of high-demand items like iPhones, setting it apart from rivals like Zepto, Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart.
The report also noted that Flipkart is increasing its dark store count, entering new markets like Kolkata, and adding more product categories. Experts believe Flipkart could emerge as a formidable player in the quick-commerce sector this year.
Other Indian companies are also stepping up their game. Tata-owned BigBasket has integrated Tata Cliq to offer 15-minute deliveries for fashion items, signalling a shift toward newer categories within quick commerce.
While industry growth projections for quick commerce have been revised, the entry of major players like Amazon and Flipkart is expected to challenge the profitability of existing businesses.
Restaurants Protest Against Swiggy and Zomato’s New 10 Minutes Delivery Apps
Meanwhile, restaurants across India are pushing back against Zomato and Swiggy’s standalone 10-minute food delivery apps, accusing them of creating unfair competition.
The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) plans to escalate the issue to the Competition Commission of India (CCI), claiming that these new apps such as Blinkit’s Bistro and Swiggy’s Snacc enable the companies to operate private labels, which could harm their restaurant partners.
In a statement to the Economic Times, NRAI president and Co-Founder and CEO of Wow Momo Sagar Daryani said, “We are absolutely not okay with Zomato and Swiggy engaging in private labelling and selling food directly via Blinkit’s Bistro app and Swiggy’s Snacc app for quick food delivery. They have access to all our data, which they do not share with us. For us, there is complete consumer masking. We have no reason to believe they are not migrating our customers to the products they sell as private labels on their apps, whether it’s data from a tea brand, biryani, or momo. We are seriously considering taking legal action.”
These platforms use apps like Bistro and Snacc to source food and beverages from third-party vendors, delivering them via quick-commerce dark stores. They also provide 15-minute delivery services by aggregating orders from restaurants.
According to the Economic Times, Swiggy’s Bolt model for rapid food delivery now accounts for over 5% of its total food orders.
“Quick commerce in food is here to stay, grow, and add more zing to the food delivery space. People want more convenience, and this will give an edge to restaurants that can adapt to it. We fully support it. However, as long as these aggregators work with restaurants and enable them to go quickly, we’re fine with it. But we cannot support a model where they sell similar products themselves, effectively competing with us. This has not been allowed for even larger e-commerce players operating under the marketplace model,” Daryani added.
The NRAI has also called on the government to grant industry status to the food services sector citing its potential to grow into a ₹7.76 lakh crore industry by 2028.

Galaxy S25’s new unconfirmed leak suggests a potential €100 price hike across Europe though.
Leaked prices range from €973 for the Galaxy S25 (128GB) to €1,948 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra (1TB).
A prototype of the Galaxy S25 Slim scored low on Geekbench.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series is all set to debut on January 22 and we have had plenty of leaks revealing a lot of details so far. However, you can prepare yourself for the days leading up to the launch since the streak of leaks and rumours is not going to slow down any time soon. The recent leak comes from Europe and has sparked concerns about a potential price hike. Here’s what we know.
An Italian retailer allegedly revealed the prices for the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra only to take them down shortly afterwards.
A look at the leaked prices –
Italian retailer leaked Samsung S25 price. (Screenshot credit – GSMArena)
However, many tech enthusiasts online have pointed out that these prices seem a bit unusual since Samsung typically ends its retail prices at 49 or 99. For example, the S25 base model might actually cost €949 or €999 and so on.
If these prices are accurate after rounding, it suggests Europe could see a €100 price hike across the board for the Galaxy S25 series. That said, there’s no confirmation yet and it’s possible the retailer posted placeholder prices to gain attention.
Meanwhile, the rumoured Galaxy S25 Slim is not expected to debut alongside the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. Instead, it may launch a few months later, which explains its absence from the leaked price list.
Galaxy S25 Slim Appears on Geekbench
While the Galaxy S25 Slim isn’t launching yet, a prototype recently surfaced on Geekbench revealing some early performance details. The North American model SM-S937U is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and paired with 12GB of RAM and Android 15 with One UI 7.
Samsung S25 Slim spotted on Geekbench.
It scored 3,005 on Single-core Geekbench test and 6,945 on Multi-core.
It is quite strange because these results are surprisingly low for this chipset that typically scores in the high9,000s for multi-core performance. One of the possible reasons for such low benchmarking scores could be Slim’s thin design which impacts heat dissipation and overall performance.
The Galaxy S25 Slim is rumoured to be under 7mm thin making it incredibly sleek. While this might appeal to those prioritising design, it raises questions about whether the trade-off in performance and cooling is worth it.
Whether the Slim’s striking design compensates for potential compromises will depend on individual preferences, though a case might cover up that ultra-thin aesthetic.

The phone has two memory variants – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
Available in three colour options – POCO Yellow, Glacier Green and Cosmic Silver colours. Poco X7 5G price in India starts at ₹ 19,999.
Chinese smartphone brand POCO has officially launched the Poco X7 5G smartphone in India.
It comes exactly a year after the predecessor X6 series was launched in the country. We remember the X6 series for being a performance-focused phone and it appears that Poco intends to keep its track record intact.
In case you are wondering how is the new device, well…. We have been using X7 5G for about a week now and this is our hands-on Poco X7 5G review. So, without further ado, let’s get into it.
The Poco X7 5G has a very bold and eye-catching design. We had the Yellow colour variant for this review, which sports a black and yellow dual-tone design. It immediately grabs attention and honestly, it is kind of hard to miss even from afar.
The square-shaped camera module sits right in the top centre and is neatly designed with four lens cuts that give it a clean look. But what really stands out is the leather finish back panel. The stitching details on both corners look nice and add a premium feel to the phone.
There’s the huge golden shiny POCO branding in the middle of the back. We must say that it is a bold design choice and definitely eye-catching. If you are the kind of user who wants their phone to stand out, you will surely like this design.
About the build quality, the phone feels solid in hand. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and it is definitely reassuring to know that everyday accidents like slipping off your hand or rubbing against sharp edges aren’t a big deal here. You also don’t have to stress over scratches or cracks.
With IP66, IP68, and even IP69* ratings, you don’t have to hesitate to take the phone out in the rain or accidentally drop it in the water.
Poco has also adopted what it is calling a shock-absorbing design with energy-absorbing foam and a reinforced polymer buffer. On top of that, the steel-reinforced mainboard adds another layer of security.
It’s clear that Poco has thought about all the little mishaps that happen in real life.
In a nutshell, the Poco X7 5G is a mix of bold style and solid durability.

The display on the Poco X7 5G is a beautiful 1.5K AMOLED 3D Curved Display. It makes everything from watching movies to playing games feel quite immersive. The colours appear rich and the visuals are crystal clear. Moreover, the 3D curved edges don’t just make the phone look premium, they also make swiping and scrolling feel smoother. The screen simply flows through the fingertips.
The display comes with a peak of 3000 nits. We tried using the phone outdoors and the performance was quite good. You can easily see the screen whether you’re outside on a sunny day or simply in any bright environment. The display automatically adjusts its brightness with 20,000 levels of fine-tuning.
For binge-watching shows or gaming, the Dolby Vision certification makes every frame look stunning, with extra depth and clarity.
We felt the screen was super responsive and didn’t experience any particular lag while tapping or swiping. The display response is instant. Whether you’re in a fast-paced game or just navigating through apps, the display keeps up effortlessly.
Plus, the WetTouch Display 2.0 makes sure even if your fingers are wet or oily, the screen stays responsive. The in-display fingerprint scanner is seamless too.
Poco has also added some eye-friendliness to this display with TÜV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue Light, Circadian Friendly and Flicker-Free technologies. It definitely feels easier on your eyes, even during late-night scrolling sessions.

When it comes to performance, the Poco X7 5G depends on MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset built on a cutting-edge 4nm architecture. After using the phone for about a week, we can say that the Poco X7 5G keeps up with everyday smartphone use effortlessly. Whether you’re gaming, editing photos or juggling through multiple apps, it handles everything well.
We didn’t notice any annoying lags or freezing in the phone per se. It feels quick and responsive with minimal apps opening time and quite fluid screen transitions.
Games like Genshin Impact on medium settings felt quite smooth on the device as well. There was minor heating after about 20 minutes of heavy use but nothing that you don’t expect.
We put the phone through all major benchmarking platforms and it managed itself quite well. Here are some results screenshots.
It comes with HyperOS, which is Xiaomi’s custom software based on Android 14. Poco will provide three major Android updates and four years of security patches, so you are sorted on that front.
In simple terms, the Poco X7 5G is overall a reliable smartphone that can handle every everyday task without breaking a sweat.

The Poco X7 5G features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 camera with the support of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). There is also an 8MP ultra-wide rear lens and a solid 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The camera delivers sharp and stable shots without much effort. It is optimised to take crisp pictures keeping natural tones as the main focus.
The large f/1.59 aperture pulls in more light making low-light photography surprisingly good. Even in tricky lighting, the images come out bright and clear, which is impressive.
What makes this Poco X7 camera setup really fun is the addition of AI-powered features.
The AI Portrait Modes let you play around giving the pictures a professional edge with beautifully blurred backgrounds. You can use the AI features to tweak the lighting, so your subject pops perfectly against the background. It reduces noise and enhances detail, so your night-time shots don’t look grainy or dull.
But even after the AI work, the photos hardly look artificial.

Poco X7 Pro 5G – Design and Build Quality
Poco X7 Pro 5G – Design and Build Quality
The Poco X7 Pro design language is simplistic. The phone has a boxy body with rounded edges and sharp sides. We had the Black-Yellow dual tone variant for this review and it is very eye-catching. The leather finish back panel looks stylish with golden Poco branding and other golden elements.
The camera module is the simplest you would find in modern phones. We liked the fact that Poco has kept it simple when most brands show all their creativity in that module itself. The two lenses positioned vertically on the left top corner almost blend into the back. Meanwhile, the golden rings around the lens make them look quite attention-grabbing.
X7 Pro is extremely lightweight and sports a slim profile, which is commendable considering this phone comes with a massive battery size. In fact, the brand claims this is India’s slimmest and lightest phone with a large battery. And you really do feel it when you hold the phone in your hand.
The build quality is decent. While Pocohasn’t clearly specified, it looks and feels like regular polycarbonate material.
Poco has got an IP66 + IP68 + IP69* (supported) rating for the device, which means you can be worry-free when outside with decent protection against water and dust. It also has Wet Touch 2.0 technology that allows users to use the phone even with damp fingers.
Poco X7 Pro 5G – Display
Poco X7 Pro 5G – Display
If you are like us, display plays a huge role in forming an opinion about any smartphone. Poco has done a great job in the display department this time. X7 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat display with a 120Hz adaptive sync refresh rate and Dolby Vision support.
This punch-hole display with slim bezels on all sides is perfect for both streaming and graphic-heavy gaming.
The colours appear vibrant as the screen reproduces 68.7 billion colours with complete accuracy and sharpness.
We felt the adaptive HDR feature makes the display feel even more crisp as adapts to various lighting conditions perfectly well.
We didn’t experience any lag in responsiveness while using the phone. The scrolling feels smooth, thanks to the 120Hz adaptive sync refresh rate paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Moreover, the Gamer Turbo mode has 2560Hz instantaneous touch sampling for precise control on the display in fast-paced games.
The viewing angles are also great on X7 Pro. The visuals appear absolutely cleareven from the side.
The screen is complemented by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, which means you can use it without thinking too much about scratches and drops. Plus, it is a TÜV Rheinland-certified display and will provide the required protection to your eyes with low blue light emission and flicker-free operation.
Overall, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the display is one of the major highlights of the X7 Pro.
Poco X7 Pro 5G – Performance
Poco X7 Pro 5G – Performance
Poco X7 is the first smartphone to bring the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor to the market. Built on a flagship 4nm TSMC process, the processor promises a 20% improvement in CPU and GPU performance compared to its predecessor.
The phone is flagship level when it comes to performance. First of all, it is perfect for those pro users who are more into multitasking. The app loading times are minimal and it smoothly transitions from one task to another without any hands even when several background apps are working together. The phone is more than capable of handling all your daily apps and regular tasks effortlessly.
Gaming on the phone was a smooth experience. We tried playing some graphic-heavy games and there were no noticeable lags or delays. The heating was also minimal and was only felt during long gaming sessions, which is understandable.
We tested the device on multiple benchmarking platforms and it performed fairly well in all tests. Below are the relevant benchmark results for reference.
The phone comes with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. We felt the software was properly optimised and had a clean, fluid experience. It does have too many pre-loaded third-party apps that can be bit a annoying initially as you will have to uninstall what you don’t need manually.
Plus, Poco will provide 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches. So, you can actually rely on the device for a few years.

The Poco X7 Pro camera is impressive. While on paper, the camera setup is a cutback from its predecessor.
We are getting a dual-lens setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens this time. However, the results don’t feel like a cutback at all. The camera setup ensures you get sharper photos.
The colours appear natural with some extra sharpness that only enhances the overall shots.
There is good clarity in every picture captured. The low-light photography performance is decent. We tried taking some shots in minimum light and the photos came out looking quite similar to the real scene.

Poco X7 Pro 5G – Battery
The X7 Pro packs a large 6550mAh battery, which is quite an offer for Poco to make in the price segment. The battery comes with Silicon Carbon and a solid electrolyte technology optimised to provide maximum output without necessarily increasing the thickness of the phone.
The battery size is enough to provide almost one and a half days of power with normal to medium-heavy usage.
Moreover, it is paired with 90W HyperCharge support. The good thing is that Poco is providing the 90W adapter inside the box.
So, you can actually utilise the fast charging capability to its fullest. Using the provided adapter, it took us about 25 minutes to get almost 90% charge from under 25%.
Verdict – Should You Buy Poco X7 Pro 5G?
Verdict – Should You Buy Poco X7 Pro 5G?
Poco X7 Pro is an excellent choice for those who want flagship-level performance from their phone with impressive battery life and a fantastic display experience.
The processor performance is good and the camera system does the job it promises. We wish the camera system was a little more versatile, but nonetheless, it is not a dealbreaker in any sense. The best thing is that it doesn’t come with a big price tag.

Qualcomm may also introduce an optimised version of the chip branded as Snapdragon for Galaxy similar to previous collaborations.
Samsung has traditionally used a dual-chip strategy offering Exynos chips in some markets for its standard and Plus models. However, due to reported low yields of the upcoming Exynos 2500 chip, all Galaxy S25 models might feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally—a significant departure from the usual strategy.
Leaks about the Galaxy S25 series have revealed renders, certifications and expected specs. With the Galaxy Unpacked event just weeks away, Samsung fans can look forward to flagship models with cutting-edge displays, improved performance and potential innovations from Qualcomm and Samsung’s partnership.

This mode has now been upgraded to allow users to connect their air conditioners with their Galaxy Watch series.
Samsunghas introduced the ‘Good Sleep’ mode, a new feature to promote pleasant sleep throughout the night by adjusting the temperature according to sleep stages.
This mode has now been upgraded to allow users to connect their air conditioners with their Galaxy Watch series and have the ‘Good Sleep’ automatically activated when they fall asleep.
Samsung introduces ‘Good Sleep’ mode for better sleep experience.
The influence of a suitable ambient temperature on sleep is immense.
The common experience of waking up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat or shivering in cold is relatable for most people. It is for this reason that Samsung decided to develop a mode on its air conditioners to help people get better sleep during the night.
The key point in this mode, however, was that the optimal temperature for sleep is not fixed for the entire period that a person sleeps.
This is why although many set their air conditioner to the optimal temperature before going to bed, they still wake up.
Air conditioners and Galaxy Watch work together for optimal sleep.
The optimal temperature varies according to the sleep stage a person is at – whether a person is falling asleep, in deep sleep, or waking from sleep.
The Samsung team, in 2015, partnered with Kyunghee University to find the optimal temperature for each sleep stage and develop an adequate algorithm for the air conditioner.
Good Sleep mode adjusts temperature for deeper, restful sleep.
The ‘Good Sleep’ mode fluctuates the indoor temperature over the course of a person’s sleep cycle.
Sleep consists of 5 stages – wake, REM (Rapid Eye Movement), and 3 stages of NREM (Non-Rapid Eye Movement sleep).
Each stage of sleep includes variations in brain wave patterns, eye movements, and body temperature.
These five stages make up one complete sleep cycle which typically lasts about 90 minutes. Throughout the night, this cycle repeats itself approximately four to six times.
The ‘Good Sleep’ cycle adjusts the indoor temperature according to the stage. First, when a person falls asleep, the temperature is quickly lowered within 5 minutes to immediately create a pleasant environment.
The temperature is kept low consistently during the next 90 minutes to facilitate deeper sleep.
Starting from 90 minutes, the air conditioner increases the temperature to prepare for the deeper stages of sleep – N2 and N3. In these stages, body temperature and blood pressure fall the most, indicating that the outer temperature needs to be warmer.
Temperature is increased within two degrees above target level to prevent awakening due to cold sensation.
Throughout the eight-hour sleep cycle, alternating periods of lighter REM sleep and deeper NREM sleep occur. The ‘Good Sleep’ mode continually modifies the temperature throughout the night, adjusting it approximately three times. Approaching the end of sleep, temperature is kept high, but gentle wind is blown to create a refreshing atmosphere.
In WindFree™ air conditioners, the ‘Good Sleep’ mode works with WindFree™ cold air, and for normal models, air is blown out to meet the target temperature.
By connecting with the Galaxy Watch series, users can seamlessly enjoy the benefits of the ‘Good Sleep’ mode without manual adjustments via remotes. Users can enable automatic activation and deactivation of the air conditioner through settings on Galaxy Watch series.
Once configured, when the Galaxy Watch detects sleep, the AI automatically starts a customized operation for a comfortable sleep.
If the air conditioner was previously turned off, it will be switched on with the appropriate target temperature for ‘Good Sleep’. Alternatively, if it is already running but set too cold, it will adapt to a more comfortable sleeping temperature and automatically shuts off at the wake-up alarm time set in the app.

To promote ‘Good Sleep’, Samsung has rolled out a special offer through which consumers can get up to 42% discount on purchasing select Samsung WindFree Air Conditioners.

itel Zeno 10 – Design and Build Quality
itel Zeno 10 – Design and Build Quality
Itel Zeno 10 sports a sleek design with a stylish back panel that gives a very modern look to the phone. We had the Phantom Crystal colour variant for this review and it is a nice dark grey colour hue with a shimmery wave pattern.
The phone has a flat-edge design with a boxy body and three rear camera cutouts that don’t stick out much. We liked the subtle design of the camera module as it goes with the modern vibe of the phone.
We also found the phone to be extremely lightweight with quite a slim profile, making it quite an easy-to-hold device.
Itel Zeno 10 includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is placed at the bottom of the phone alongside the USB-C port and speakers. The volume rockers and the power button are on the right and the sim trey is on the left.
itel Zeno 10 – Display
itel Zeno 10 – Display
itel Zeno 10 comes with a large 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with ith 90Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1612 resolution.
The water drop-notch style display has thick bezels on all sizes with a huge chin, but in our experience, it doesn’t really disturb the viewing experience.
The display features a dynamic bar that can be set up to show useful information such as face unlock, call, recorder and charging animation. It is an interesting feature to have that some users might like.
The display performance is good for everyday experience and basic smartphone tasks. However, Overall, the display is decent and you can rely on it for basic everyday smartphone tasks such as social media scrolling or even some video streaming.
itel Zeno 10 – Performance and Software
itel Zeno 10 – Performance and Software
itel Zeno 10 packs a UNISOC T6.3 octa-core processor. This chipset isn’t the most powerful of processors but it supports the smartphone well. It is paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration. Itel has also added memory fusion technology that can boost the RAM to up to 12GB for faster and smoother performance.
The phone handles itself well for basic tasks on apps such as Social Media Apps, WhatsApp, YouTube, Gmail and more. There is obviously a limit to how much it can multitask smoothly. We tried to open a couple of apps together and it was smoother than we imagined. However, open a few more apps at the same time and it starts acting out. You will notice lags and screen hang-ups. We also don’t think this phone is designed for gaming.
Below are the Benchmark test results –
The phone runs on Android 14 right out of the box, which is great for a smartphone in this segment. The UI is clean and there are some pre-loaded apps that you can easily get rid of in case you don’t need them.
itel Zeno 10 – Camera Performance
itel Zeno 10 – Camera Performance
itel Zeno 10 carries an 8MP AI rear camera with 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The camera performance is decent for a phone in this segment. You can’t expect extra-ordinary quality here but most photos that we shot in bright daylight came out well. The outdoor photos are quite clear with good colour balance keeping the natural tone alive.
The phone struggles in low light conditions when increased processing time. This means you cannot quickly get a clear photo. The phone needs to be steady for a few seconds before it can process a somewhat clear photo when it is not daytime or in dim lighting conditions. The selfie camera does its job but the quality is just about average.
Here are some camera samples that we shot using the itel Zeno 10 phone.
itel Zeno 10 Day Camera Samples
itel Zeno 10 Night Camera Samples
itel Zeno 10 Daylight Video
itel Zeno 10 Night Video
The phone comes with a lot of camera modes including Portrait Mode, Wide Selfie Mode, HDR Mode, PRO Mode, Time Lapse, Panorama, Short Video and AR Shots.
All in all, itel Zeno 10 camera is not the best but just make sure you have good lighting and the phone will capture clear pictures.
itel Zeno 10 – Battery and Charging
itel Zeno 10 – Battery and Charging
The itel Zeno 10 boasts a 5,000mAh battery that offers a solid battery backup. It easily lasts for an entire day even with average use. It comes with 10W charging support that might seem a bit too slow at times.
However, for a phone of this segment, this is quite the usual charging speed you will get with most competing phones. We were able to get the phone from under 10 per cent battery to almost 90 per cent in about 1 hour 55 minutes.
Conclusion
Verdict – Should You Buy itel Zeno 10?
itel Zeno 10 is a good under 6000 smartphone specifically designed for budget-conscious users. It comes with a good design and decent build quality, features a nice HD+ display that can support casual viewing requirements, and offers a reliable battery backup.
This is an entry-level phone, and keeping the limitations in mind, the Zeno 10 delivers on its promises. So, if you are looking for a really affordable yet solid everyday device, you can definitely consider itel Zeno 10 once before making any choice.
