Two months after its launch, Oppo has now introduced a fresh new colour for its K12x 5G in India. The brand announced a stunning Feather Pink colour option. It will be available starting September 21st at 7 PM.
This new colour variant will be exclusively sold on Flipkart and Oppo India’s official website. It comes at the time of Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale.

While the gaming community is still debating the high price tag of the recently launched PS5 Pro, the rumour mill has moved on to the PlayStation 6 (PS6). Multiple rumours have started about a possible Sony-Intel collab breakdown leading to Sony-AMD finally signing papers.
According to a recent report by Reuters, Intel was in talks with Sony to get into designing the chips for the PS6. The tech giant eventually lost the contract to AMD.
Reports suggest that both Intel and AMD reached the final stage of signing contracts with Sony.
AMD, however, secured the deal. AMD has earlier produced custom chips for the PS5 and PS5 Pro.
The report also highlights how this contract would have been a significant step for Intel, as the company has been looking forward to expanding its contract manufacturing business.
The contract “would have amounted to billions of dollars of revenue and fabricating thousands of silicon wafers a month,” two sources revealed while speaking to Reuters.
According to the report, several factors played a part in Sony finally moving ahead with AMD once again. Other than disagreements over profit-sharing with Intel, Sony prioritising backward compatibility is another reason.
It is being said that Intel and Sony engineering raised concerns that a new Intel chipset might complicate things with backward compatibility for PlayStation. It would also reportedly increase the cost and engineering work to ensure older games run on the new hardware.
Backward compatibility is something Sony has kept their focus on for a while now. It allows gamers to easily play older PlayStation titles on newer consoles.
The PS5 supports most PS4 games. It also offers a library of classic PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. This is done via the PlayStation Plus subscription service.
Intel has denied this characterisation.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Apple chipmaker TSMC is well ahead of its production schedule for advanced chips expected to be used in next year’s iPhone 17. The chipmaker is producing the first 2nm chips reportedly for iPhone 17. Now, a new report has surfaced in the Chinese media reiterating this claim and also revealing some challenges.
According to the Chinese media report, TSMC cannot manage this ultra-small process without external help.
The Chou News Agency reported says TSMC will need the help of other suppliers to package these chips and get them ready for installation in iPhones next year.

Wafer manufacturers such as TSMC cannot develop advanced packaging technology alone, and the importance of the ecosystem is increasing day by day. It depends on close cooperation with ecosystem partners such as materials, equipment, silicon intelligence (IP) and electronic design automation (EDA), which has gradually evolved into a situation of “group fight” competition,” says Chou News Agency report.
It was previously reported that TSMC demonstrated the first 2nm chips to Apple in December 2023.
A previous Financial Times revealed, “TSMC, which dominates the global market in processors, has already shown the process test results for its “N2” — or 2 nanometre — prototypes to some of its biggest customers, including Apple and Nvidia, according to two people with direct knowledge of the discussions.”
According to the same report, Trial production started in July, well ahead of the schedule.
“Free City said equipment for 2nm production has been brought into and installed at the Baoshan plant since the second quarter, and will enter trial production in the third quarter, which is earlier than the market’s expectations for the fourth quarter. It is interpreted as speeding up to ensure a stable yield before mass production.”
Certain reports also claim that Apple may have reserved all of TSMC’s 2nm capacity. The brand previously did this for the iPhone 15 Pro’s 3nm chips.

At the same time, we have the old RDNA 2 architecture GPU in the Xbox Series X. Though where it might perform better the PS5 Pro is running on 12.155 TFLOPS, which overpowers the base PS5 running on 10.23 TFLOPs.

RAM-wise, PS5 Pro runs 28% faster than the base model PS5. RAM number as such remains unknown for PS5 Pro, which suggests not much has changed.
In comparison, the Xbox Series X is equipped with 16 GB GDDR6 RAM.
Comparing PS5 Pro and Xbox Serie X in terms of RAM won’t give any clarity as such because we do not have clear information.
So, let’s look at the storage.
The Xbox Series X has 1 TB NVME SSD storage while the PS5 Pro comes with a huge 2TB storage.
Though looking at the number, PS5 Pro looks like a better choice, but where things change is the price point.

One of the long-awaited features of Apple Watches was blood pressure monitoring, earlier reported to be in development for Series 10.
However, reports now suggest the feature might not arrive anytime soon.
The recent report doesn’t provide any specific reasons for the delay. It surely suggests that some issues were reported after testing the health feature with the Series 10.
Bloomberg’s trusted Apple reporter Mark Gurman in his latest weekend newsletter revealed that the company may have hit snags during the Series 10 design testing phase.
“I’m told that long-awaited capability ran into problems during testing, specifically with the updated design for the Series 10, so Apple delayed it,” Gurman suggests.
Previously, we had contradictory claims when it came to the Apple Watch blood pressure feature.
On one hand, we had Nikkei in 2021 claiming that the feature will arrive in the Apple Watch Series 7.
On the other hand, Gurman refuted Nikkei’s claim suggesting different plans of the Cupertino giant.
It is well-known in tech circles that Apple has been working on adding blood pressure monitoring to Apple Watches for a while now.
Gurman too confirmed back in 2022 that it was at least a couple of years away hinting at the arrival of the feature with Series 10.
Blood pressure monitoring in the traditional medical field requires bulky equipment.
There are pressure cuffs and scales involved, both of which need to be attached to the patients.
A 9to5Mac report quotes the NCBI study to explain this further.
“When the cuff is fully inflated to [a high] pressure, no blood flow occurs through the artery. As the cuff is deflated below the systolic pressure, the reduced pressure exerted on the artery allows blood to flow through it and sets up a detectable vibration in the arterial wall. When the cuff pressure falls below the patient’s diastolic pressure, blood flows smoothly through the artery in the usual pulses, without any vibration being set up in the wall.”
As per the 9to5Mac report, Apple Watch blood pressure monitoring will instead techniques similar to the heart-rate sensor we have seen in these watches.
It will study the pulse wave and estimate any likely stiffness of the arterial wall.

9To5Mac report also draws from the Mayo Clinic comments that say these devices are usually overreading.
The clinic instead recommends the measurements should be calibrated against a cuff measurement from traditional equipment used by medical professionals.
“Using a wrist blood pressure monitor at home often gives falsely high readings due to poor positioning. If you use one, place it directly over the wrist artery, called the radial artery, where you can feel the pulse. Keep your wrist at heart level. Be still during the test and don’t bend the wrist. Bending the wrist can cause incorrect readings.
It’s common for blood pressure readings taken at home on any type of monitor to be different from those taken at a medical office. If you have a wrist blood pressure monitor, take the device to your healthcare professional’s office. Your care team can compare the blood pressure in your arm and wrist to make sure your device is working well.”
This could be a reason Apple is taking its time to release the feature. The company is most likely working on improving the accuracy of the feature before going ahead with the launch.
It is also reported that Apple might be using AI models to interpret the data, which could help with the accuracy.
