Done with flip and folds, it appears tri-folds are soon going to be a new trend! Samsung is reportedly gearing up for a big year in 2025 with plans to release four foldable devices including its first-ever “tri-fold” foldable.

Based on a video report from The Elec, Jukanlosreve suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 might drop the built-in S Pen digitizer, which could result in a slimmer design but require an S Pen that needs charging.

Who is Himani Mor?

Himani Mor (25) is a talented tennis player from Sonipat Haryana. She attended Little Angels School before pursuing her higher education. She is currently working toward a Master’s Degree in Sports Management at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire, USA.

Before that, she completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Physical Education at Delhi’s Miranda House.

New images and leaks reveal a device that is impressively slim at just 3.5–4mm when unfolded and 9mm when folded. Here’s everything we know based on recent leaks and reports.

It has previously been reported by  Pete Lau that OnePlus Open 2 based on the Oppo Find N5 will be the thinnest book-style foldable. Now new images shared on Weibo by Oppo’s Zhou Yibao gave us a glimpse of the upcoming foldable.

To give an idea of how thick the phone actually will be, images show the phone compared with different objects for perspective.

The images show the phone’s thickness similar to four stacked credit cards, barely thicker than a USB-C port or half the thickness of an iPhone.

The Oppo Find N5 will set a new benchmark for foldable designs undercutting the Honor Magic V3’s 4.35mm thickness when unfolded. Zhou explained that the USB-C charging port is the current limit to how thin the device can go. Despite its slimness, the Find N5 boasts a larger battery of around 20% bigger than the Oppo Find N3 along with significant performance upgrades.

The latter with a thickness of 7.9mm highlights just how thin the Find N5’s design is. Live shots of the device also reveal its sleek profile and refined details, which could set a new standard for foldable devices.

A leaked side-by-side image shows the Find N5 on the left and the Find N3 on the right, highlighting the evolution of the design. The Find N5 is expected to use a titanium build, ensuring durability while maintaining its lightweight profile and will include an IPX8 water resistance rating.

The device retains the large round camera module but features a new sensor arrangement. The LED flash is now placed in the bottom-right corner, while a 50MP periscope telephoto lens occupies the upper right. In contrast, the Find N3’s LED flash was positioned outside the camera module.
