Samsung has officially acknowledged its next-generation mobile processor, the Exynos 2600. The Korean tech giant has confirmed that the flagship chipset will likely power the upcoming Galaxy S26 series when it debuts in early 2026. While leaks had previously hinted at its development, this is the first time the company has publicly referenced the chip.

Samsung Teases the Exynos 2600

The announcement came through a newly released teaser video on Samsung’s official YouTube channel.

In the clip, the company states, “In silence, we listened,” a clear nod to the long-standing criticism surrounding past Exynos processors. Some of the particular concerns have been about overheating and inconsistent performance. The message subtly conveys that Samsung has taken user feedback seriously and is aiming for a significant turnaround.

The video highlights the Exynos 2600 as being “refined at the core” and “optimised at every level,” indicating great architectural improvements.

Built on Samsung Foundry’s advanced 2nm process, the chipset is expected to deliver notable gains in efficiency, speed, and thermals. Samsung also claims the new processor is engineered to “express the exceptional,” suggesting a strong emphasis on premium user experiences.

What to Expect Next?

Despite the teasers, Samsung hasn’t revealed concrete details about the Exynos 2600’s real-world performance. We also don’t have an update on whether it can match or surpass competing flagship chips.

The company is expected to officially unveil the processor either later this month or early next month.

If we follow Samsung’s usual launch pattern, the Exynos 2600 announcement will likely precede the Galaxy S26 series debut by about a month. As of now, the flagship smartphone lineup is expected to arrive in February 2026.

FAQs

Q1. What is the Exynos 2600 and when will it debut?

Answer. The Exynos 2600 is Samsung’s next‑generation flagship mobile processor, set to power the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026.

Q2. What improvements does Samsung claim for the Exynos 2600?

Answer. Samsung says the chip is “refined at the core” and “optimised at every level,” built on a 2nm process for better efficiency, speed, and thermals.

Q3. How did Samsung announce the Exynos 2600?

Answer. The company teased it in a YouTube video, addressing past criticism of overheating and performance, and promising a significant turnaround.

iPhone 17e Leak Reveals Familiar Display, New Modem and Big Selfie Camera Upgrade

0

Highlights

  • iPhone 17e is expected to feature the A19 chip with 8GB RAM, Apple’s in‑house C1 modem and N1 wireless chip.
  • It is likely to adopt Dynamic Island design while retaining a 6.1-inch OLED panel at 60Hz refresh rate.
  • Rumours hint at an 18MP front camera for sharper selfies and video calls, while keeping a single rear camera.

The upcoming Apple iPhone 17e has surfaced in fresh leaks, offering an early look at what the company may unveil in early 2026. The new reports suggest that Apple is quietly preparing this more affordable model, which could debut alongside a new iPad and a new MacBook. Here’s what we know so far.

iPhone 17e – Hardware (Expected)

According to early reports, Apple may rethink its usual chipset strategy. Instead of using the A18 chip, the iPhone 17e is reportedly set to feature the A19 processor paired with 8GB RAM. This hardware combination is expected to support all Apple Intelligence features without limitations.

Apple is also said to be moving away from Qualcomm modems. The iPhone 17e may introduce Apple’s in-house C1 cellular modem, marking a major shift for the brand. Additionally, a custom N1 wireless chip may power enhanced connectivity features including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

iPhone 17e – Display (Expected)

One of the key upgrades could be the transition from the notch to the Dynamic Island. It could be bringing the iPhone 17e in line with Apple’s modern design language. However, the company is likely to retain the 60Hz refresh rate, keeping costs in check.

A report from South Korea, citing supply chain sources claims that BOE will produce most of the panels for the iPhone 17e. In the meantime, Samsung Display and LG Display will supply the remainder. The device is expected to keep its 6.1-inch OLED panel. BOE reportedly cannot manufacture LTPO displays for the 17-series yet and will instead offer LTPS TFT panels, similar to those used in the iPhone 16e.

iPhone 17e – Camera (Expected)

Leaks suggest a notable upgrade to the selfie camera. The iPhone 17e is rumoured to feature an 18MP front camera, the same sensor used in the higher-end iPhone 17 models. This should deliver sharper video calls and improved portrait capabilities. On the back, Apple may retain a single rear camera, helping maintain product differentiation within the lineup.

With these upgrades, the iPhone 17e appears to be shaping up as a more capable and future-ready entry-level iPhone ahead of its expected 2026 launch.

FAQs

Q1. What processor will the iPhone 17e use?

Answer. Leaks suggest the iPhone 17e will feature the A19 chip with 8GB RAM, supporting all Apple Intelligence features.

Q2. What display changes are expected in the iPhone 17e?

Answer. The device may adopt Dynamic Island while retaining a 6.1-inch OLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate.

Q3. What camera upgrade is rumoured for the iPhone 17e?

Answer. The iPhone 17e is expected to include an 18MP front camera for sharper selfies and video calls, while keeping a single rear camera.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro have leaked once again. We are now getting an update on key battery details found within the company’s own software. These details arrive shortly after design renders surfaced online giving a clearer picture of Samsung’s next-generation TWS lineup. Here’s a roundup of both the new leaks.

Galaxy Buds 4 Design Revealed in New Images

According to images uncovered by Android Authority, the Galaxy Buds 4 have been spotted in black and white colour options. The earbuds adopt a design that resembles the Pro model but without silicone ear tips. They feature a fresh stem-style look along with a grille at the top.

Previous leaks indicate that the new stem will support touch gestures such as squeeze and swipe controls. Samsung is also redesigning the charging case for both the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro. The earbuds will now lie flat inside and the “Blade Lights” seen on the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are reportedly not returning this time.

Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro – Expected Specifications

As per Android Authority, each Galaxy Buds 4 earbud will house a 42mAh battery, slightly lower than the 48mAh capacity used in the Galaxy Buds 3. This reduction is modest compared to last year’s bigger drop when Samsung moved from the Galaxy Buds 2 to the Buds 3 with over a 20 per cent cut.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are expected to include 57mAh batteries, a small bump from the 53mAh units inside the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

For comparison, older models like the Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro both offered 61mAh batteries. Despite Samsung trimming battery sizes over generations, real-world battery life has stayed largely consistent. Independent tests from SoundGuys previously showed the Buds 2 and Buds 3 non-Pro versions lasted around five hours on a single charge, which hints at improved efficiency in hardware and software.

The charging case for the Galaxy Buds 4 lineup may also receive a minor update. A previous leak suggested Samsung could increase the case’s battery capacity by around three per cent, though the latest report indicates the change would be minimal.

FAQs

Q1. What design changes are expected in the Galaxy Buds 4?

Answer. The Galaxy Buds 4 adopt a stem-style design without silicone tips, spotted in black and white, with a redesigned case where earbuds lie flat.

Q2. What are the battery capacities of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro?

Answer. Each Galaxy Buds 4 earbud may carry a 42mAh battery, while the Buds 4 Pro could include 57mAh units, slightly higher than Buds 3 Pro’s 53mAh.

Q3. How does battery life compare despite smaller capacities?

Answer. Real-world battery life remains largely consistent (about 5 hours) thanks to improved hardware and software efficiency, even with reduced battery sizes.

Google has begun rolling out Photos Recap 2025, the latest edition of its annual year-in-review experience that transforms users’ photos and videos into a personalised highlight reel. Introduced last year, the feature is designed to help users revisit their most memorable moments, and the 2025 update adds more tools for customisation and sharing, according to Tommy Meaney, Senior Product Manager, Google Photos. Here’s more about the new features.

Google Photos – A Look Back at Your Year

Photos Recap 2025 uses a mix of photos, videos, refreshed graphics, and cinematic transitions to retell your year visually. Familiar stats return, including your top people and the total number of photos captured over the year. This year, Google has added a new metric about the number of selfies you took.

For users in the U.S. with Gemini features enabled in Google Photos, the Recap will also highlight standout hobbies and top moments based on the year’s activity. In response to user feedback, Google has introduced the option to hide specific people or individual photos from the Recap and regenerate an updated version afterwards.

New Tools to Create and Share Your Recap

Google has integrated a new Edit with CapCut button, enabling users to export their Recap directly into CapCut. There, they can choose from exclusive Google Photos templates for additional creative editing. Sharing has also been refined with a new carousel that automatically generates short videos and collages from the Recap, making it easier to post on social media or send in group chats.

Users can even share their Recap directly to WhatsApp Status.

Relive Your Best Moments All Month Long

The 2025 Recap will start appearing in the Memories carousel this week. If it doesn’t show up automatically, some users may see a prompt at the top of the Google Photos app offering the option to create it manually.

Once viewed, the Recap will shift to the back of the Memories carousel and stay pinned in the Collections tab throughout December. Users will continue to see additional 2025 highlight moments across the month as well.

Anyone can view, personalise, and share their 2025 Recap by opening the Google Photos app, where the feature is now rolling out.

FAQs

Q1. What is Google Photos Recap 2025?

Answer. It’s the latest year‑in‑review feature that turns your photos and videos into a personalised highlight reel with cinematic transitions, stats, and new metrics like selfie counts.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 is officially here, marking the return of the streaming platform’s most anticipated annual feature. After last year’s widely debatable AI-heavy new features, Spotify has shifted back to the formula with deeply personalised insights, creative visual experiences and social-friendly features powered by users’ listening data.

According to Spotify, Wrapped 2025 is its biggest and most ambitious version yet.

During a press briefing, Matt Luhks, Spotify’s Senior Director of Global Marketing, acknowledged the mixed reception of last year’s approach. He noted that the 2024 edition brought “a lot of feedback,” describing it as a balance of positive comments and “more constructive feedback,” even though it saw higher engagement than previous years.

“We take all of that in. We use that as information, insights, [and] inspiration for how we approached Wrapped this year,” Luhks said ahead of the rollout.

He added, “What our users tell us about Wrapped means a lot to us, so it was really informative in how we approached Wrapped this year. And what we tried to build was the most creative, most innovative, most engaging Wrapped ever.”

Starting We’re the original and, we believe, still the best,” Luhks emphasised that the team set a high benchmark for the 2025 edition of the now 11-year-old tradition.

This year’s Wrapped introduces nearly a dozen new features alongside familiar staples such as top songs, top artists and top genres. Users also get more transparency into their data than ever before.

One of the biggest additions is Wrapped Party, Spotify’s first live multiplayer experience. Users can invite up to nine friends to compare listening habits in real time. Unlike simple side-by-side stat comparisons, Wrapped Party generates unique group insights like who is the “most obsessed fan,” the “early bird,” the “picky listener,” or the “dinner table explainer,” the person who listens to the most news-related podcasts. These labels update dynamically, ensuring each session is different.

Your Top Songs Playlist also gets an upgrade, now showing play counts for each track so you can visualise exactly how much time you spent with your favourite music.

Other new experiences include –

  • Top Song Quiz – Guess which track defined your year before the results are revealed.
  • Listening Age – A new metric that compares your 2025 listening habits with others in your age group by analysing the release years of the songs you played most.
  • Wrapped Clubs – Users are sorted into one of six listening styles such as the “Soft Hearts Club,” “Club Serotonin,” “Full Charge Crew,” or “Cosmic Stereo Club.” Each listener is assigned a role like leader, scout, or archivist, based on their musical behaviour.

As usual, Wrapped showcases your top songs, artists, genres, and for the first time, your top albums. Fans of podcasts and audiobooks will also get detailed insights, while creators will continue to receive their own versions of Wrapped.

Spotify has again included video messages for top fans, now expanded to include authors alongside artists and podcasters.

Spotify Wrapped 2025 also releases global charts in different categories. (Image credit - Spotify)

Spotify also revealed its global charts for the year –

  • Top Artist & Top Song: Bad Bunny
  • Top Album: Bad Bunny
  • Top Podcast: “The Joe Rogan Experience”
  • Top Audiobook Author: Rebecca Yarros (“Fourth Wing”)

How to Access Spotify Wrapped 2025?

To unlock your Wrapped, you must have streamed at least 30 songs for more than 30 seconds each and listened to a minimum of five different artists in 2025. The feature is available to both Free and Premium users in nearly all regions via the Spotify app on iOS and Android.

Users can find their Wrapped by checking the top of the Home tab or by searching “2025 Wrapped” within the app.

HMD Global has expanded its lineup of ultra-basic feature phones with the introduction of three new models, the HMD 100, HMD 101 and HMD 102. This follows the earlier launch of another trio of 4G feature phones. While the fresh lineup sports an updated exterior, the overall feature set has been scaled back even further compared to the models announced previously. Here’s what we know about the new phones so far.

New HMD 100, HMD 101 and HMD 102

The official announcement was made by HMD CEO Jean-Francois Baril on LinkedIn. Baril confirmed that the new phones differ noticeably in design from the HMD 102 4G and HMD 101 4G unveiled in September.

image

Among the three, the HMD 102 stands as the most feature-rich model. It includes an MP3 player and a camera accompanied by an LED flash. The HMD 101 removes the camera entirely, while the HMD 100 appears to eliminate MP3 playback support as well, which likely means this model also skips the microSD slot, given the near-zero internal storage typical of basic feature phones.

Baril reiterated that the HMD 102 supports MP3 functionality, which suggests the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, all three new models seem to rely on microUSB ports for charging and connectivity. This could restrict their availability in regions like the European Union, where USB-C is mandatory for portable electronics.

Another notable detail is that HMD makes no mention of “4G” support in these new models. This is significant since many markets are phasing out 2G and 3G networks. The microUSB port requirement could further limit their release in countries with strict charging standards.

For regions requiring 4G connectivity and USB-C, HMD already offers alternative models such as the HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G. These versions also feature dual-SIM capabilities. User guides for the newly announced devices are live on the HMD India website including separate pages for the HMD 101 and the HMD 101 4G, as 2G networks remain operational in India.

Additionally, customers seeking entry-level phones with 4G support can also consider the HMD 105 4G and HMD 110 4G.

FAQs

Q1. What new phones has HMD Global announced?

Answer. HMD Global has introduced three ultra-basic feature phones, HMD 100, HMD 101, and HMD 102 with simplified designs compared to earlier 4G models.

Q2. How do the three new HMD feature phone models differ?

Answer. The HMD 102 includes an MP3 player, camera, and LED flash; the HMD 101 removes the camera; the HMD 100 drops MP3 playback and likely skips microSD support.

Q3. Do these new HMD Global feature phones support 4G and USB-C?

Answer. No, all three rely on microUSB ports and lack 4G connectivity, which may limit their availability in regions phasing out 2G/3G or mandating USB-C.

Motorola is reportedly gearing up to introduce the Motorola Edge 70 in India with fresh leaks hinting at a mid-December debut. The smartphone made its global entry in select markets earlier in November. Successor to the Motorola Edge 60, it is said to arrive with notable differences for the Indian market. According to reports, the model is also rumoured to be Motorola’s next ultraslim phone for India, similar to the Moto X70 Air launched in China in October. In any case, here’s what we know based on recent leaks.

Motorola Edge 70 India Launch Timeline and Design

Well-known Indian Tipster Mukul Sharma @stufflistings on X (formerly Twitter) claims the Motorola Edge 70 will launch in India around December 15.

In the X post, the tipster also reveals that the device could measure just 5.99mm in thickness and match the Moto X70 Air. If true, this could place the Edge 70 in the same ultra-thin category as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone Air.

The tipster also shared images of the alleged colour options. The Motorola Edge 70 appears in light green, dark green, and black variants, each carrying the Pantone-validated branding at the bottom. Colour names may remain the same as the international version, which are Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green.

The official hardware details are still under wraps, but the leak suggests several upgrades over the global edition. The India variant may pack a larger battery, a refreshed design and could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The smartphone is also rumoured to include a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and support wireless charging.

Pricing is where Motorola may deliver the biggest surprise. While the Motorola Edge 70 is listed at GBP 700 (around Rs. 80,000) in the UK and starts at EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 81,000) in Europe and the Middle East, the Indian model is tipped to cost under Rs. 35,000.

More details about the Motorola Edge 70 are expected to surface in the coming weeks as the launch window approaches.
